Hi Anna, do you think a counsellor could help me? Im not sure what my doctor would make of me asking for it ... ive been seeing dr for 10 years now and its never been offered to me so anxious about asking in case I get the brush off?

Hello, it’s one of the best things I’ve done. It didn’t help with my ibs directly but it changed my mindset and how I dealt with it. It made me start taking steps to making it better for myself. It’s a new thing for ibs I was only told about it in December but I would ask. Ge on the waiting list as it takes a few months but worth it. Not everyone will find it a help it’s like everything else but worth a try and it’s free xx
