Hi I've been taking mebeverine for the last week and it seem to finally be helping with the pain but in finding its making me really sluggish, can anyone tell me what would be a good source of fibre to add to my daily diet please? Im still trying to work out my trigger foods so in still not sure what my trigger foods are!

Thanks

Try googling FODMAP diet. This helps to strip your current diet then when you feel better slowly try introducing the high stuff and see which it is :) I’ve tried this and it helps massively. Apples are a definite no no also cream from cakes :( I didn’t need to take the pills once I started this thankfully. Good luck

I used to find psyllium fibre helped, but the effect seemed to wear off eventually. Beware that some psyllium fibre preparations contain inulin, which according to the FODMAP theory is not a good idea.
