Back ache
Hi there Runnerbean
I also get back aches from time to time and mine are usually the lower back and can sometimes radiate to the middle of my back.
I get quite bad back & pelvic pain especially with a flare up. My GP said it's probably just muscular and to try Pilates.
My pelvic area has never been the same since giving birth a year ago but I also developed IBS after so I think both are related
Yes I get terrible back pain. It took me a long time to realise the damage it had been doing long term .... and the strain of the bloat has caused degenerative disc disease. I now do yoga ... a bit late as the damage is permanent but it is helped by the yoga. I think the doctors advice is good and sooner than later. Protect your back now and save yourself more grief later on. I truly wish I had. Its hard going when you feel so unwell but worthwhile in the long run. Good luck .... you have my sympathy. Its so, so difficult and life changing.
Yes I get lower back pain only just this year. It's a bit like what I used to experience with period pain. I find a hot water bottle really helps.
I'm actually wondering if my significant IBS changes are related to me being in early menopause. I've had all the tests to rule out anything serious but I have read that hormones and menopause can play a huge part in IBS symptoms.
