Well I've been having a bad flare up for almost a month definitely caused (at least in part) by my young children (10months and 2 yrs). They've been poorly with colds and teething and we've had lots of restless nights. So my bowels have gone stupid. On Saturday I got a bit of respite, woke up at 4 as my af had arrived and went to the loo for a normal, all be it early bm. Anyway I thought great we're in the other side of this little mess . Well yesterday it was back and today (probably cos my 10month old has been up crying since 3am) back with a bit of a vengeance. It 5.30 and I'm already on my third bm, had prickly heat up my back, terrible butterflies in my tummy and my favourite or all my ibs symptoms nausea! Want to curl up in a ball and sleep all day but have two kids to get up and out and then got to go to work.
Anyway feel a bit 'wo is me' this morning. Hope others are having a better one!

Your situation sounded horrible. I remember feeling like that when younger. Still get times like that but fortunately , as retired , can stay in bed or at least don't have to deal with kids and work etc.
Not that this is any help really , just to say your not alone and to hope you are just having a difficult time and things will improve soon. Yes the nausea is horrible . A moan sometimes helps a little.
Sorry to hear this IBS can be worse when your tired and run down. Our gut health affects our immune system and vice versa. Hope you get some rest today - don't do anything that isn't essential or priority. Daughters last day of school tmoro I am so ready for a lie in (hopefully) on Thursday x
