Butyrate Supplements

Has anyone tried butyrate supplements? Apparently they are very good for promoting good bacteria, and killing off bad cells in the intestines?

I've never heard of these or tried them, I will have a look online.

Looks like no-one else has tried them either as I see you haven't had any replies which is normally a sign that no-one has used them before.

Yes Alicia I agree, but the new book that I have that takes the fodmap diet to a new level and has been tried and experiented with by this Doctor is an extremely good and fascinating read, plus it has recipes in it as well to keep the gut healthy.

Yes I did see that myself, but didnt know if anyone had had any experience of them? they help produce healthy cells in the gut and the lining of the gut. I found out out them by reading The Good Guts diet.

I got mine from the Book Respository which is a lot cheaper than Amazon plus free delivery if that helps

I'm planning to add butyrate to my 'regime' too in about two weeks time. Also did some 'research' and think it's worth a try.

Please let me know if you notice any changes with it. What I have read looks promising, but the personal reviews I read didn’t give much insight. Of those that did were using it for other things.
