Hello Im new here....Ive been experiencing IBS symptoms for the past 3 years. During the first 1.5 years, I was In absolute pain every day and did not know what was the cause, I got blood test after blood test and ultrasounds and all the results came back normal. I finally started to manage the pain when I started counting calories, eating too big of meals or just too much at the end of the day would cause the abdominal and back pain.
2 weeks ago I woke up with the the symptoms but the pain intensity was out of this world, I had never experienced the symptoms to be so severe. I was shaking and could not stand or walk. This lasted 2 days...I went to the doctor and they did some blood tests and the doctor said I had mild pancreatitis. That night I was very anxious and depressed and started to notice, shortness of breath, I could not fall asleep and ended up going to the ER, they did a bunch of tests and everything came normal and they even said I did not have pancreatitis.
At this point, I am desperate because I thought I had things under control and now this shortness of breath and palpitations are causing me a lot of anxiety. I recently started taking these pills called IBgard and they seem to help but the shortness of breath is still there.
Has anyone ever experienced shortness of breath/palpitations? and if so what helped?

I've experienced shortness of breath and heart palpitations many times before and each time there has been a different cause behind it.
Sometimes my heart palpitations have been caused by magnesium deficiency and soaking my feet in magnesium chloride salts or epsom salts would resolve the issue.
I remember another time getting heart palpitations along with shortness of breath from an asymptomatic tooth infection. In that case having the tooth pulled out resolved the symptoms immediately. Do you have any root canaled teeth? Or do you suspect having
And most recently I got severe asthma from consuming what I thought was healthy organic strawberries for one month without noticing I was allergic to them. Eliminating the strawberries and going on a low histamine diet resolved the issue. Have you had any recent changes in your diet? Do you consume alcohol? Maybe a low histamine anti inflammatory diet could help.
Edit:if you suspect having a histamine issue ie, if your symptoms get worse by consuming eggplants or alcohol do not try to soak your feet in Epsom salts. Use magnesium chloride salts for soaking instead.
