Peppermint tea, stem ginger qubes, NO MEAT, rice and any tinned fish for the next 24/48hrs - exercise if you can manage it and drink lots of fluids.
NO Bread - only use wholemeal wraps - No diary simple basic food, hope this helps.
A very bland diet I would say. The bland diet I was following before my Colonoscopy last year made me feel so much better, it might have been boring but I would rather be bored with food than suffer the consequences. I haven't continued on that diet but now watch everything I eat and am now buying Lactose free products which seem to have helped a bit.
A lifestyle change... that is the remedy for good. The symptom relieving actions like peppermint tea, ginger tea etc. are just short term solutions, you will continue to have "flareups" again and again.
Organic diet and absolutely no meds (antibiotics, antiinflammatories etc.) is the solution, at least it was for me. Give your body the chance and time to heal itself, it is more intelligent than you might think....
Water and plain food x
