I have just been sent details of this and I wondered whether anyone else has tried it? It is laying claim to be a cure for IBS!

Has anyone tried Kijimea IBS
I don't know Kijimea personally. It looks like a remedy for Sibo or Candida. So it might work to rebalance gut flora.
I have recovered from IBS. I used plants on my Candida. And I did feel much better.
If you are not sure what you are dealing with, you could ask your doc for a breath test. You may also find it useful to look at the specific symptoms for each in this post and see what seems to fit: sickofibs.com/ibs-symptoms/...
For some people, dealing with SIBO or Candida will be a total cure. But for many there is an emotional side to IBS, and pills can't help you with that. My blog may give you some insight into this.

Hi Alison, with the Canidida, what symptoms did you have, and I was wondering what do you think caused this problem?
As well as the "usual" IBS symptoms (bloating, wind, indigestion, abdominal pain) I had sugar craving soon after meals, and I had throat problems when I was young.
I think mine started when I was a child. The most common causes are consuming industrial processed foods and sugars in some quantity, and/or antibiotic treatment with no probiotics to follow up.
Hi thanks for your reply. I did think I had this problem but after months of a very strict diet, and so many supplements which cost a great amount of money I gave up. I don't get any pain, just bloating and incomplete evacuation which is just uncomfortable most of the time. Glad you found relief with your symptoms 😃
Thank you Alison you have really confirmed what I suspected. My IBS is caused by anxiety (which I am in the process of sorting out) and not triggered by food. I am not dealing with SIBO or Candida. I don't think I am going to try Kijimea IBS!
I have also just been reading up on Kimijiea IBS. I'm thinking of trying it. I will try anything to help with IBS. It rules my life at times
Ok I bought into this and have been trying the pills for the last 3 weeks. I'm on my last week. I think for the first week I was like this is amazing! felt like I could eat different things again and had no bloating. However, I think IBS is such a severe condition, and although these pills may help repair your gut, it's not the solution it's claiming to be. It won't get rid of your IBS. There's actually only one published scientific paper on the results, and to be honest placebo trials have been nearly as effective in other papers, due to the psych side of IBS. I started a new job this week, and so was inherently stressed, out of a routine and uncomfortable and my anxiety went through the roof. So this really has set my IBS off bad this week. So I've still been taking the pills, but my guess is, if you aren't eating avoiding difficult food groups like garlic, onions, wheat etc that have high fibre in, and you are anxious/stressed, then your IBS is still going to flare up unfortunately. I'll report back maybe when I've settled in my new job and finished the pills, but really I've been bloated and really bad all week with symptoms so I don't think these pills are fool proof. It is just a bacteria as well...and depends on if you have IBS related anxiety. Happy to chat if you need an ear.
