Has anyone tried Symprove?

Was wondering whether anyone has used symprove and if so have they had any benefit from it?

Hi I ordered some yesterday, I've read up on it and sounds quite good . But I won't know Untill I've tried it.

I hope it works for you Gemini. I'm due to see my gastro consultant on wed might ask his advice as on so many meds and high meds like or oramorph so don't really want to just add. Let me know if you gain any benefit please xx

I tried it for a while back in November and it made me worse-I felt like I had a pemanently upset stomach the whole time and it only settled once I stopped taking it. An expensive mistake (especially since I couldn't afford it on zero income and my parents lent me the money so I feel even more guilty). I wouldn't recommend it unless it becomes a prescription drug and one can be properly monitored by a doctor.

Thank you both for your responses, I was in two minds to trying it. I've just read an article in the daily mail about a lady whose very similar to me and found a cure from it. But I wasn't too sure as wouldn't want to get worse x

I'll try again this is the third post I've put on. I'm like you I take a lot of medication, but as the saying goes one shoe don't fit all. If I was you I would mention it to your consultant ask his oppinion. A few weeks ago someone recommended Prbio7 I tried that and it made me I'll, but it worked for her so who knows. Good look for Wednesday.

I have used it on and off for a couple of years and overall, it helps me. I am currently on another course of antibiotics and am taking it now because of that. You have to try it to find out whether it will work for you. The reports are excellent, and it has recently been found to be one of the very few probiotics which survive the journey to the gut. Everyone reacts differently though and other IBS sufferers will have found no benefit. Sorry!!
