My GI on my request gave me a few boxes of this product to try. I have taken as directed trying both one hour before food or one hour after food and developed nausea each and every time .I have also noticed zero benefit for my bloating. Anyone developed nausea with this product or really reduced bloating?

Peppermint oil/ IB Gard
It didn't help me.
Peppermint is on the safe list, but I think it is only beneficial for acid reflux
I tried I.B guard to no avail as well. my doctor keeps saying i have i.b.s and i feel he is wrong. looking into it more on my own i found that my constant gas and bloating, along with inconstanance may be caused by a condition called sibo. This is caused from taking anti-biotics to kill off bacterial infection of which i had a few years ago. The anti-biotics kill off the good gut flora as well as the bad. Leaving your gut flora in a mess which can cause gas, bloating and so on. Of course the doctors won't admit to this. so reading more into it on my own , i found a probiotic called VSL #3 to counter the bad bacteria, and have just started a regime of it and will know hopefully soon if it is helping me. VSL #3 has more different kinds of good bacteria as apposed to other products which only carry 1 or 2. so far 1 day into it i am feeling somewhat better as the inconstanance seems to be going away . i hope this is helpful for you and i hope you feel better soon.-- "DG"
