Hi everyone.

I eat a lot of fruit. I feel like it is the reason i'm so bloated and get reflux all the time,

Does anyone else feel rly sluggish after eating fruit?? Like is it normal?

Thanks

I don't eat a lot of it so I'm not too bad but certain fruits produce gas (because of the fibre). Most of the fibre is in the skin so try skinless fruit.Plus fruit digest before most food so try and eat it on its own or before meals.Hope this helps!Lots of info on the net about it.

Everybody might have different culprits for a reflux episode. For me, fruits are not the big thing if i eat em in a certain fashioned way

My reflux immediately gets worse after a meal outside ( most probably cooked with cheap vegatable oils) , all kinds of supermarket junk food, fast food.

As i said before, there are some fruits that trigger my reflux if i consume them in a certain way

- bananas emty stomach.

- soar apples with skin

Try not eating high acidity fruits with emty stomach.

Good luck.

apples rly hurt my stomach as do smoothies :(

I have fructose intolerance. Maybe you do too. I can at some fruit like banana, strawberries, raspberries in small quantities. I cannot get near an apple or a pear.

You may also get a reaction because of the skin on fruit, or pesticide residues on the fruit skin.

Hope this helps,

Alison
