bad tummy pains

ive been having these pains in my tummy for quite some time now bin docs 3 time but telling me its gastric but i carnt c how wen ive had it bout 5 months now with runs can any 1 give any advice pls

Hi I've had ibs for about 7 years, never sure what causes it, seems to go alongside water infections which I get frequently! The last week has been a lot of stomach pain on and off but not really diarrhoea or constipation, the pain is quite intense and I take Buscopan which help a bit but doesn't go completely. I think mine is stress related even though I don't always feel that stressed! Pain killers don't help and I'm also on amitryptiline to help with neck pain which gives me headaches. When I get a flare up I always feel weak and sick. Have you tried Buscopan?

Hi I'm also getting the tummy pains at the moment take buscopan but not always effective. I might try some wind-ez. Are you on any meds for your ibs? X

I have increased Buscopan to six a day but stomach still hurting, it gets me down and makes me worry it's something else causing the pain! Going to try Sillcolgel from today, if not back to the docs again!!

Paulie, hi! I feel you pain. I have had IBS since I was 9 years old, now I'm 35, so for a long time. Doctors won't tell you this, but IBS causes problems all along the digestive tract, I also have GERD, and chronic gastritis, for no reason, that came about in my 20s, and I still have it after being on meds that are supposed to heal it for the last 10 years, so last May 2016, they added another med, I have been ill, very ill for over a month at this point. Got sick Feb 5th, and couldn't eat anything till after the 25th of Feb when I went to the hospital cause I couldn't take it anymore. They said most likely complications of gallstones, which caused biliary colic. But as you know you can't eat a lot, or eat a lot of fat with IBS, so where did the stones come from? None of the docs I see can tell me. You need to go have an upper endoscopy, make them check all of your digestive tract. Good luck to you, I know the struggle is real.

Have you tried mebeverine on prescription? Have started using windez at night so will monitor its effectiveness!! X
