IBS D - Bowel movement without much warning

Hi,

Sometimes when I'm out I get the need for bowel movement without much warning. What underwear/protection would people recommend wearing just incase I don't get to a toilet in time?

hi I have this problem and if I'm going put and I don't know where the toilets are I use tena pants sometimes when you dont feel so anxious you find you can wait a bit longer.

I also use pads I spoke to the district nurse at my surgery who went through what size I needed and sent a referral to have a delivery

I've used adult pads. Can get them from Boots or online under incontinence products.

I used to use pads but I found if I had an accident they didn't contain it and soiled my clothes the pants are better and because I feel less anxious it hardly happens now.
