Ive been suffering from major anxiety for a few months though the last 4 weeks my symptoms of anxiety have reduced considerably and I've had diarrhoea everyday for at least the last 6 weeks, it's affecting my work as I'm constantly having to run to the toilet and it's affecting my sleep because I'm waking having to run to the toilet. Im going at least 8-10 times a day. I have also lost quite a lot of weight, I've lost about 3inches on my waist in only 4 weeks having been a 29inch waist and now measuring a 26inch waist.
My diarrhoea ranges from colour from very dark brown to orangey/yellow colour. I'm a 28 year old woman Should I be more concerned?

Hi there PinkUnicorn,
Yes you should be concerned, because you are losing wait and not digesting much at all by the sound of it. I would get this checked out now by a doctor to be sure and get some medication to calm this down quickly.
However stress and anxiety set diarrhea off in me too. It sounds like you are in a stress spiral where the more stressed you are, the worse the diarrhea gets, making you tired and less able to cope. So the only real way to deal with this long-term is to change your relationship with stress. We can't always change stressful situations, but we can change how we react to them. But it takes time to learn how to.
As a quick fix try this article of mine and see how you get on. This also has to become a habit, but is very accessible: sickofibs.com/well-being/a-...
