why is my right side constantly soar
Hi I have same I have had it for almost 2 years but thought it was due to a polyp in my Gall bladder ?
I wish I could help, 5 years is so long to be in constant pain. I feel I can only sympathise. I've just had 9 months of what has been described at IBS but I have always thought it was an infection. It's been hell so I know what you are going through and have been so ill I thought I would never ever recover. Have you had a CT scan or ultrasound to see if you have gall stones? They can really play you up and give you terrible pain. I eat a small bowl of yogurt every night before I go to bed to try and settle things down a bit. I've taken acidiophillous and tried all kinds of remedies. I've gone gluten free and that didn't help. We are all searching around for help. The gastroenterologist I saw was pretty useless and I paid to go private, cost me a fortune and I got nowhere. I really wish I could offer you some help. Just keep going back to your GP and try and get to the bottom of what's causing all your pain. Good luck xx
Hi,
Sorry to hear you're in pain. I would ask for a scan to see if you have gall stones. Are you being physically sick when you're in severe pain? It depends where the pain is if it's higher up it's possibly your gall bladder. If the pain is in your pelvic area it could be your appendix. A good test for appendix problems is if you're having pain whilst going over bumps on the road whilst driving or being driven.
This test is being used now to diagnose appendix problems. I had this pain before appendicitis surgery.
I'm not a medical professional but from experience I can inform you.
I hope this is helpful
