Ibs ? Help not sure

Hi i had a tummy bug and cramps a month ago i also took trimethorpin antibiotics then i ended up in er with what i thought was my appendix had tests so far nothing found except a polyp not sure if this causes pain all i know is that i have constant pain in the day from the minute i wake up from my belly button all round the right side and into my pelvis i feel pressute at the top when i push it feels hard then i burp and its relieved for a mo then starts up again

Ive been off work but now i have to go back ive tried to not take pain meds as i thought they msy make it worse feel like im on a catch 22 help
