Almost made it through Christmas eve and Christmas day with no major IBS issues. Just low-level complaining from my guts due to over-indulgence. Then for some unknown reason I realllllly had to have a scoop of coleslaw with dinner.

Night ended and its been back and forth to the loo. Sometimes you just have to indulge your cravings, though I'm not sure cabbage is the kind of food item worth suffering for :)

Merry Christmas and happy new year to everyone in the community. Wishing you and yours a healthy 2016

Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you too. I laid low this Christmas - played everything safe. So much easier when family come to visit.

You are right. When I'm in charge of cooking it's much easier. My mom uses a lot of packaged gravies and sauces. Those are always a gamble.

It's the Old a little bit of what you fancy only it doesn't do you that world of good anymore! Been there! Risked shrimps with my salmon starter,so far so good!

We've all done it. My other half always says "why do you eat it when you suffer like that" but sometimes you just have to have something. Of course I regret it after!

We all do it, but raw Cabbage lol, that would have left me in the bathroom all night.

Hope you feel better today. Stay away from the dreaded coleslaw lol.

I know! Cabbage is the worst. I don't even really like coleslaw most days but it looked extra good.

I'm sure the rest of my eating throughout the day didn't help. Next year I'll try and be better. No slaw!

Little and often throught the day I find helps me. No massive xmas meal for tummy to cope with. Just space things out. Easy once you get yourself into a routine.
