Hi GFF! Good post! People do need to know about this.
Most reputable vitamin/supplement stores would not sell vitamins with Sorbitol...
A big mistake is buying the cheaper vitamins at stores such as Target, WalMart, etc... oR Heave forbid: The Dollar Store!
Many tests have been run, and very often these cheap vitamins (although you CAN pay a good price for them!) have been shown to be over half 'filler' powder...It always pays to get the better brands... even though, believe me, I hate paying those prices, too!
Thanks for the info! Sorbitol is definitely not my friend, found out the hard way with polos!!
I have felt quite a lot better using some B12 patches that have 10 other vitamins in them too. You can buy them from amazon and ebay, you put them on for 24 hours once a week and I had no bowel issues because they bypass the bowel and go straight to the bloodstream. I also use a D3 oral spray that again goes straight to the bloodtsream, but unfortunately it is peppermint flavoured and I have issues with mint flavours setting off my diarrhoea symptoms sometimes (often happens with toothpaste). I can hardly ever take vitamin supplements because they give me GI issues
thanks
