Hi can anybody help please. I'm having a terrible bout I think it's stress or ate lamb. The worst thing is the nausea and shivers. I'm taking my amptriptyline 35mg which I had to go back on recently and a .25mg of Xanax twice a day as I'm taking my daughter to university for the first time. Thanks for any help

Xanax and Amptriptyline can have side effects such as; nausea, constipation, dizzyness, change in apetite. So could be connected to that, especially if you have IBS as well. I haven't heard of lamb causing shivers, but thats just my experience (anyone else?). Maybe being overwhelmed while on these meds contributes to these symptoms, perhaps you should talk to your doctor.
Thanks vinnybob I'm overseas at the moment with my daughter settling into her university, staying with family which doesn't always help as I'm very conscious of them watching me. Will check in with gp when I get home.
Thanks
Hi there perhaps the lamb is too fatty for your digestive system, have you had your gallbladder removed? Makes it harder to digest fats and carbs.
