Can you get yellow mucas after a bowel movement with ibs

First. If you're worried, you must see a doctor. This is not something to be unsure of.

Second I regularly have mucus, though not yellow. It can be hard to distinguish the colour.

Mucus is natural as it's a lubricant and protection. BUT if you think it's abnormal the best option is to get it checked out.

Yes ,my G.P. and Gastro.say you can,I get it myself, if it's with a bowel movement it can be yellow and thicker, otherwise tends to be colourless. But if it's bothering you, I would get it checked out as fenbadger suggests.

Hadn't really taken much notice of mucus, however today like you noticed yellowish mucus after a difficult night having spent a long time in the night with acute diarrhoea. Also noticed blood in mucus, gather cos it was small amount and bright red there's nothing to worry about.
