Painkillers for ibs: Hi I am going on holiday... - IBS Network
Painkillers for ibs
Paracetamol as good as anything, drink plenty of water throughout day though as painkillers can cause constipation, drinking water helps keep stools soft. Stress/anxiety can cause symptoms to flare so try and relax. Your chemist can advise you on medications that help that you can buy over counter. Enjoy your holiday x x
I find that Co-Codamol helps.
Do you know if you are lactose/dairy intolerant because if you are you should be aware that a lot of tablet medication contains lactose.
I use ibuprofen in liquid gel form
I use Codeine for pain relief and management of my IBS.
Hi I don't know you or where you're going but enjoy your holiday, that might stop your i.b.s being so bad to begin with, the other thing is the flare-up is causing what symptoms exactly? Can you be a little more specific?
