i am suffering with a lot of pain in my left lower abdomen, a constant change between constipation and diarrhea and a lot of nerve pain from my glutes down my posterior of the whole leg including my foot. I went to the ER they told me that i have 2 large cysts on my ovaries and my thyroids quit working. So now i read about IBS and am wondering if that would be rather the real issue.

I get that same pain when my tum plays up. Cannot walk when it's bad. The base of my foot tightens up too. I have had acupuncture a few times and it makes such a difference...amazingly my foot was so supple last month I hadn't realised how abnormal the tightness was cos I'd lived with it so long!

I've suffered with sciatica for 19 years and the pain you're describing sounds like that.

Hope that helps
