Hi

Yes, I use it every day and find it invaluable, better than fibrogel. I use lepicol plus which has added enzymes. Check out the lepicol website, it has many psitive testimonials

Thanks for the recommendation Queeny. I will get some. I don't find Fibogel much help and I don't like Movicol which has been prescribed for me.

I am ibs c predominant although I have occasional d. I found that my bowel settled down after about a week to 10 days of taking 2 teaspoons once a day. For me taking an additional probiotic also helps and my bowels have been pretty normal for the past 2 months. No bloating or cramps and I am now completely off PPI prescribed for reflux.

Do you know if you are allergic to lactose and dairy as a lot of medication including loperamide (Imodium) contains lactose and could be making your symptoms worse. I found dairy was the cause of my Diarrhorea and I don't take anything.

Hi there iv bought some lactose free milk so I'm going to try non dairy to see if that helps thanks for that info

in reply to willgina

Lactose free milk still is cows milk - you may need to try soya or almond milk

Do you suffer from ibs-d the docs say if got fibromyalgia as well any other advice you have please share I won't go out much I'm scared of not getting to the toilet on time

My symptoms are diarrhorea but under control on a strict dairy free diet - I use Pure spread for everything. Viatlite is soya and dairy free.

Here is a link for a RADAR key which will open any disabled toilet. There are cheaper ones available but this is a registeted charity

Do you have gluten also garlic & onions say they are bad for ibs

in reply to willgina

Gluten doesn't affect me nor onions or garlic.

Everyone with IBS is different and it's only trial and error to find out what affects each individual

Hi again is there a list of toilets you can use with the radar key ? Do you eat eggs or certain cheeses or no dairy at all thanks

in reply to willgina

No list - the key opens any locked disabled toilet

Eggs are not dairy but I can't tolerate hard boiled eggs.

No dairy at all - no cheese (which was one of my weaknesses)

Thanks for that I'm going to try dairy free I don't like yogurts or cream so I should be ok

in reply to willgina

Alpro make plain yogurts and fruity ones which do taste different from those made with milk products.
