Zytiga

Failed xtandi, zytiga, and chemo. My primary symptoms affecting my QOL at this time are muscle aches involving my R deltoid, L scapula, and lateral R rib cage. These pains were precipitated by only minor injury, and seem to be taking forever to heal.

Is there anyone out there that is on this combination and especially if you are BRCA2?

I am home and in hospice after two weeks in hospital and on deep chemo and zytiga brain. But all that is gone. Just blue sky calling me now. My PSA has risen to 25 and will doubtless rise higher I just wanted to thank many of you for your friendship and counsel.

He has been on Zytiga and Abiraterone, plus steroids. Oncologist is looking into Immune therapy and has also offered the last chemotherapy available. Percentage is between 10-25 % effective. So not great odds. Oncologist said to try and find trials.

We cost Medicare next to nothing, since we aren't on Zytiga, or Xtandi or other expensive treatments. We can't use iodine contrast (he's allergic) and we usually have done an MRI without gadolinium... Can someone help me with information to help convince our doc to do an MRI.

My only treatments so far have been ADT Zytiga, Eligard ,Xgeva ,and Provenge. My PSA has been steady at 0.1 since first month treatment ,extensive bone Mets through out most of my body have been stable and lymph nodes have subsided to undetectable. My brothers I can tell you.

Since then he’s had casodex, lupron, 6 of taxotere, Zytiga, 9 of cabazitazel + carboplatin, Xtandi, Keytruda, 6 more of cabazitazel + carboplatin, 5 days of radiation for pain in his hip, and has had the first of Radium 223.

Failed xtandi, zytiga, docetaxel. I know hospice is around the corner and we are also waiting phone calls on a couple of immunotherapy trials. My question is there anything left to try at this point?

TRiple Hormone Therapy 2008, Zytiga 2012, Provenge 2016, Enzalutamide and now on Daralutamide. PSA still rising, 55. Axumin 7/19, diffuse sclerotic foci in osseous structures, Bone scan,Nov., focus of uptake iliac bone. Change uncertain. Genetic testing last week. No mutations expected.

Previously did chemo 4 years ago and since then went on to Zytiga and Lupron. My MO is being aggressive to target a lesion in the pelvic bone. Any advice on diet and how to handle initial side effects? Thanks

After using dexa for about a month along with Zytiga (brand) his psa on 2/10/20 dropped to 11.89. Husband also loosely follows the Tippens protocol with fenben but now takes it 4 days a week.

Docetaxel or Zytiga I’m 66 years old and was just diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. It has spread to bones, lungs and lymph node. My PSA was 29, grade 3 and Gleason score 7. I live in Canada and the standard of care is chemo or Zytiga. I’m on ADT.

I have been told I am now Stage 4- PSA doubled in past 2 months from 6-14, T now is 51 after 3rd Lupron shot, with sabbatical to every 6 mos. I was diagnosed Nov29th 2019 where I got the 1st Eligard 6 month injection and after 1 month added 1000mg of Zytiga/10mg pred. along with 2x400mg Calcium tablet (with D3 vitamin)... At diagnosis, I was gleason 4+3 in all 12 biopsies (adenocarcinoma) with PSA of 88 (now 0.71).

PSA climbed to 2.1 in Dec. 2019 and Oncologist suggested Provenge before we consider Zytiga or another second tier drug. I was just notified that insurance has approved the Provenge treatment. It seems I am going with the catheter approach for the collection and infusion (difficult veins).

He has stage 4 gleason 9, had zytiga, chemo and now back to zytiga along with eligard and xgeva. He had TURP 1.5 yrs ago upon diagnosis.

Hi everyone, My dad is doing well at the beginning of his treatment (on a Zytiga and a double-blind trail of olaparib). His PSA numbers dropped quick and he is feeling great. He wants to go on vacation but won't go without travel insurance.
