Zoladex

I have just got my 2nd zoladex injection today for the past 2 weeks or so iv had extremely itchy breasts, anyone else experience this on zoladex

I am currently taking tramadol for the pain as its getting worse and just started HRT with Zoladex yesterday. Was just wondering if it sounds like Endo, as I'm at a loss with what is going on with me and currently waiting for a laparoscopy.

I've just been for my fourth check up appointment with yet another different consultant (seen 5 different ones now) I've had three zoladex injections now and the last consultant that I saw told me to go back after having three injections and see if they help also to make sure if it is my endometriosis

Hi all I am due to start zoladex within the next couple of weeks. I was just wondering what happens after the treatment (I'm due to have a three month course) as in if it helps the endo pain, what would be the next steps, if it doesn't help what would be the next steps?

Do people pay for Zoladex injections?

I've ended up going cold turkey on both a Mirena coil after 5 months (due to pelvic physical discomfort) and zoladex/tibilone ( only survived 2 months as the effects were so horrid). I had a kind of hormone crash lunchtime got the shakes and have started to bleed heavily. Is this normal?

Had my check up Wednesday with my oncologist - he has taken me off Letrozole and the Zoladex injection for a month as I have really been struggling with the side effects - he said that my quality of life was more important than the 2% it gave me for prevention of reoccurrence.

I have moments, like when they do the zoladex implants when it's all really real, but then I go back to work and it's like nothings wrong. I tell myself the pain isnt bad. Its situation normal, I'm under work pressure, loads to do everything is routine normal.

Hello, so since my first post where I felt my whole life was falling apart after my 2nd Zoladex injection, I have been taking livial to help counteract the side effects as they were becoming unbearable.

I have just completed my 2 year continuous ADT2 ( Zoladex 10.8mg + Calutide 50mg ) which is a part of my initial treatment regimen.

Before the Zoladex injections my periods were always on the 28th day which is why I am confused. TIA :-)

After further bowel investigation though I've been told it's high risk as bowel is attached to the cervix and distorted and was instead recommended a zoladex trial with a view to possible oophorectomy BLO and tubes if it works. I've agreed to this trial and took zoladex round 2 yesterday.

I am also taking zoladex injections so the docs say I have been unlucky (tell me about it :-|) I now have to wait until May to see if it has sorted itself out or if I need yet another op.

I was just wondering if anyone has experienced any period symptoms whilst being on zoladex? The last 2 weeks I've had alot of bloating and cramping again, but no bleed. I'm also suffering terrible with my mood swings and the hot flushes have got alot worse 😔 Ellis xxx

We discussed zoladex and possible hysterectomy in 6 months. I'm keen to learn of others experiences and side effects and whether a hysterectomy is a "cure". I'm 42 and have two kids. Thanks in advance

I still have not actually been diagnosed with Endo - i am to try a 6 month course of Zoladex and take it from there!! I'm feeling so frustrated though, although I must admit I do feel my pain is less than what it has been, but now struggling massively with the effects of the Zoladex!!

But my sister says my breathing problems are in my head, despite being clinically diagnosed by going on zoladex and experiencing the pseudo menopause, which was awful! I am desperate to find other women who have breathing problems and who are also affected by fragrances and scents.

Hi ladies, So I have spent the past year on and off zoladex. The pain did go but as soon as I stop it comes back again.
