Hysterectomy or not?!
I'm waiting on a further specialist appointment after five rounds of
zoladex
as it's been a nightmare, pain, no pain, more pain, no pain and bleeding. I have a feeling the specialist might recommend a hysterectomy. A total one. What's people's opinions please? I've read very varied reports.

Zoladex and HRT advice/experience please
I'm unsure of what's next as
zoladex
is only a short intervention so concerned what's next I don't think I could take any more surgery yet so will have to see what my gynaecologist has planned next in Feb. Just apprehensive of it all.

Zoladex pre surgery
My bsge centre told me I needed 12 weeks of
zoladex
before my next surgery. After much faffing around and refusing to start me on it, they rang me yesterday and told me to get my GP to start me on it on the 6th of January (which would give me 10 weeks on it before my surgery date).

Have my date for hyst at bsge centre
Unfortunately after fannying around for the past 5 weeks refusing to change me to
Zoladex
(because they told me I had to have it for exactly 12 weeks prior to surgery) they've now given me dates which only allow for 10 weeks of
zoladex
. Go figure. But I'm looking forward to feeling better.

Severe endometriosis
I am told to take

Zoladex
About 3 weeks before the surgery, i had my first
Zoladex
injection. This really helped and got rid of a lot of the pain. I had my second
Zoladex
injection a few days ago.

Zoladex after excision surgery
Unfortunately I'm still experiencing the same pain (Pelvic pain, abdominal pain and bloating) I went back again to see my gynaecologist at the local bsge centre and as I have had problems with the combined pill and progesterone only pill they're recommending
zoladex
which I'm feeling very worried about

...... after 8 years !!!
I was offered
Zoladex
for 3 months to see if his eased my symptoms. With guidance and support from several ladies on this site I went back and asked for a referral to an Endometriosis Specialist. I was informed that I would have to go back to my G.P and ask for this which I did.

A referral to BGSE accredited centre is a must !
My general Gynaecologist informed me surgery was "too dangerous" and that I could try
Zoladex
to temporarily put me into the menopause.
