Zoladex

So doc has said i shud start zoladex injection first one tomorrow . I'm nervous. Wat if it doesn't work. Wat if i have horrible side effects. Wat if the pain isnt endo. Gonna be an interesting month. He also said hes gonna try get me on December's operating list . Fingers crossed

My gynecologist has put me on Zoladex, to try and shrink them before going for IVF. I knew the symptoms would be difficult, stupidly didn't ask about how it would effect my periods, I just assumed they would stop.

I was on Zoladex for two years (2007-2009). I have suffered severe health problems ever since - I was first diagnosed with ME while on Zoladex, now they are saying fibromyalgia but many of my symptoms don’t fit that.

Ive been getting Zoladex injection since August the Side affects a terrible . My hair fallig out , lost weight, . I contemplate most days cause of the pain in daily. I feel so alone with this condition. Please i have a appointment on of this month with the endo team and a consultant.

Got my zoladex injection and started my hrt tabs. Was seriously nervous but just hoping I have the desired outcome. To say im tired is an understatement. Think I've myself exhusted waiting on all the side effects to hit me . Apart from a sore head its been a great day all round.

So after my rant my question is has anyone else had this trouble on zoladex? My GP thinks it may because I am also on HRT from the start.I am worried with the amount of time I am on my period it feels like I am for 3 weeks at a time with a 1 week break, Is this normal for Zoladex?

His PSA was 779; Zoladex brought it down to 60; oral DCA brought it down to 29; the "Pfeifer Protocol" brought it down to 1.5. He cut out alcohol (although not a huge drinker), dairy, did a raw vegan diet strictly for a year, now does a combination of raw and paleo.

I had my round of Zoladex (6 months) and my second surgery. Went from stage 3 to stage 4 endo. My doctor wanted to do another 6 months of Zoladex, but I insurance denied it. They approved lupron though.

I then had 18months of zoladex which I finished over a year ago. Now I’m on a double dose of cerazette but I’m still bleeding every wk, my body doesn’t know whether I’m coming or going. I’ve now been suffering deep pain on the right side of my groin.

I'm gonna ask him to prescribe me zoladex. Did love to chat to anyone who has had zoladex. I'm afraid but the pain is so bad I'd take poison

Hullo my dears, i had six zoladex injections en my last was on 17 july, then got my periods on 26sept. My next period was due on 21oct but it hasnt kam. I did a pregnancy test on the 22sept en it was negative. Some one help me with advise, cld i be pregnant🙈🙈.

Is this normal with the mirena or should I be concerned this is from the zoladex. Thanks :)

I'm well aware everyone is different, but I was suggested it yesterday by a consultant, as I have tried the Mirena (didn't work out for me) and he is saying the dose of my pill is not high enough to suppress the pain, so a higher dose combined pill is an option too. Thanks!

Have mirena coil have monthly zoladex and livial aswell. I take zapain for the pain. Also one last thing is it doing my body further damage by taking so many painkillers etc? I'm sorry but can't take much more it's always something on top of something else

I have just completed 3mth Zoladex 3.6. I didn't bleed apart from 2x days spotting during first inj. But my cycle symptoms continued minus the blood basically. In fact I've been in A&e twice during the treatment on my knees in pain during "ovulation" time.

Down to .2 after one shot of Zoladex and a month of bicalutamide. I too found an oncologist at a major centre who subscribes to the kitchen sink for oligo theory and am doing a trial with definitive treatment intent.

He would like my testosterone to be lower so is switching me to Casodex and Zoladex. For background, I'm Gleason 4+4 and cancer in lymph nodes but not distant mets, planning on EBRT in a month. Anyone had this switch and any thoughts that my testosterone should be lower. Thanks.

Would be so nice to get some information/advice from anyone who has had experience with Zoladex in treatment for endo xxx

Hi I have the mirena coil am having zoladex injection and just started livial hrt just wanting feedback on livial what does it do? Does it help? What too expect? When I opened the pack it was alot like the contraceptive pill.

My question is: I have one last dose of zoladex and then not sure where I am heading. I have one year of my nursing degree left so would pref like something to keep me pain free until then end of that lol!
