Anyone on Xeloda and using CBD oil

I'm currently on Xeloda pills, but there has been progression to the legs, hip and ribs. Doc wants me to stay on X, but add Gemzar Iv Chemo. Has anyone been on this combination? How was it? Thanks

He is going to schedule an MRI for me because he feels he gets a more accurate picture but for now, we are going to stay on the Xeloda and see how things go. The good thing is I am feeling good so I am very grateful and praise God that things seem to be pretty stable.

I am seeing the doctor on Friday and we are going to decide whether I stay on the Xeloda for another 3 months and see how I do or he said we could do a mild traditional chemo or possibly try another hormonal therapy drug - Tamoxifin.

He put me on Xeloda, which I start in 2 weeks. Of course, I'm scared of the side effects and how this new drug will react in my body. Anyone have experience with this chemo drug? How are you doing on it? Ibrance was such a kind drug to me - I'm worried how much different this Xeloda will feel.

I'm on Xeloda now and praying it's working! Prayers are much appreciated as I wait for the results! Colleen

I have been on xeloda three rounds now I’ve heard of hands and feet cracking but my hands are not cracking they literally feel like they’re on fire has anybody else experienced this? And what have you done for it?

I’d preferably like it for however long the GemCarbo works....and if I switch to xeloda then I don’t need port. Do you have to wear loose shirts? Summer is hopefully 3 months away! How do you reduce risk of infection? Cathy

So here we are Xeloda it is😢 Sadly I just filled out proscription for Verzenio and the pharmacy or hospital won’t take it back! It’s very expensive med and I hate to throw it! would I be in trouble to give it to someone? So my dear fighters wish me luck with the new drug❤️ Sebina

For any of you on this drug what is your experience, and how long has it worked?

I am going to begin Xeloda in a week. The clinical trial I was in was a complete waste of time. What should I expect as far as side effects? Also my doctor said to get thick athletic socks and good shoes. What have you worn that works? Thanks! Colleen

i just got scans - the chest/ab/pelvis all good - no progression, nothing new...but my eye orbit mass has increased and i have a new small spot on my c1 vertebrae... anyone else progress on xeloda and what is next?

Looking for any thoughts about the rise- on xeloda and getting an Xgeva shot next week-

Well, we were debating between xeloda and faslodex for a week. But, 3 opinions say faslodex. The 3rd dr said “it probably won’t work but there is a small chance it may”.

It can be taken w xeloda if I go that route. If anything, it’s antioxidants that are good for many ailments. I’m not willing to go 100% natural...but I’m also hesitant to put all in on the conventional therapies too. Prayers and hope. ❤️

He said the other option would be xeloda which is a chemotherapy pill. (All my meds come in a bag that says chemo but they’ve been hormone treatments). Xeloda is a true chemo I guess. I’m open. Just want to get success with something.

Got the results from scan, Xeloda not working as expected. Some tumors have become smaller on spine, but more activity in liver, and hip tumor larger. Very much in pain and will have radiation to help with pain starting Wednesday thru Nov.14th.

My oncologist believes Xeloda is best option at this point. I have extensively read medical articles and this cancer and treatment has a median survival of 3-4 months . Yes i am freaking out and incredibly sad. Can anyone share regarding Xeloda and outcome? Thanks so much
