Help & Advice re T3
Hello, about 4 years ago I asked for help in obtaining natural thyroid I was given a contact to get them from but am now on the very edge of running out so I would truly appreciate if someone would send me a private message to give me a new contact as the one I had doesn’t seem to be operating anymore

Hi Folks, Been dealing with getting on an even keel with newly experienced B12 deficiency since the middle of last year and with the ignorance of GP’s. Changing from Levo to NDT - dosing advice needed
Hello everyone, I'm looking for advice on dosing - switching from levothyroxine 75mcg to NDT (most probably ERFA or Thyroid S) but I've been advised by pennyannie that ERFA might be best as I have hashimotos. So what should I aim to be on with NDT? My vitamin levels are good as I supplement with Vit

Thyroid test when unwell
I have an annual GP thyroid test tomorrow and am feeling unwell. Feel sick and wiped out and sinus infection. Will this affect my results? It's just the normal GP test. Thanks

Support for long term thyroid condition
hi just wanted to ask here if anyone knows if the uk classes a thyroid condition as an auto immune disease that warrants support and recognition? Wondered if there’s support financially or work wise etc for having a thyroid condition I get the sense it’s palmed off as not a big deal, when it’s a life

Thyroid private blood tests - new company
Hi - A couple weeks ago someone posted a new company offering thyroid tests that have blood drawing clinics in London and is very reasonably priced. I have just had an unfortunate experience with Medichecks as the clinic I chose in London had no appointments for over a month. I am being issued a refund

Question for thyroidectomized patients: iodine processing issues?`
Hi, it seems to me that if I eat a bit too much seafood, I see some adverse issues. I do not have a thyroid, and wonder - since the thyroid is by far the organ with the highest need for iodine... how does iodine get processed in the body of someone who does not have a thyroid? If you also lack a thyroid

Pbc and over active hydroid
Hi, I have been diagnosed with pbc and overactive thyroid within the same month. I know it's common to get under active thyroid with pbc but haven't seen overactive and pbc. Wondering if anyone also has this or knows any correlation? Thanks Natasha

types of thyroid meds
I have been looking at types of thyroid medications, and wonder if anybody has used desiccated thyroid instead of levothyroxine? I will be seeing my endocrinologist tomorrow and suspect they will put me on medication. When I had my biopsy, the nurse told me she has good news and bad news, the good news
