Mornings are torture. Racing heart first thing every single morning & exhausted (Hypo)?
Hi and thanks for any help! I am so unsure and worried what is going on. Can these be symptoms of hypo? It’s just I read these are more related to Hyper? but my bloods def are not showing hyper. I wasn’t too bad after I began 50mcg T4, then I increased to 62.5 as 75 felt too big a jump and I’m on

Is it OK if T4 is 12.2, and Free T4 14.9 please? Does the T4 affect how u feel or is the Free T4 the important element?
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help please?I'm not on thyroid meds, but keep eye on thyroid due to Tsh up & down. Thyroid tested at Drs April, but 9.30/non fasting due to being fitted in for neuro symptoms for b12. Results then were TSH 1.53 (0,35-4.94) T4 12.2 (9-19.1) I've now done yearly fingerprick check

hashimotos food changes
First post looking for guidance. I was diagnosed with Hashimotos many years ago but have arrived very late to all this info. There is a lot of advice about trying dairy free and gluten free. I’m willing to try this to see if it helps me. I feel like I’m really puffy in my face and my eyebrows have big

Lower dose Lower mood😓
Hi I've lowered my dose of Levothyroxine from 125mcg to 100mcg experimenting! As thought I was going into 'hyper' territory. TSH well under 1.0 for quite some time too. However, and I've noticed this before, if I lower my dose, my mood plummets. I just start feeling a bit 'numb' for want of a better

Testing TSH
Just wondering if anyone else has been told after one blood test that their thyroid is stable and won’t retest for a year! I thought when you first started blood tests were meant to be done every 3 months. That TSH through GP was monitored. Quite surprised that they think I’m stable after one blood test

US scan results
Morning all. I have had my scan results back and my GP hasn’t explained anything about my results. Didn’t ask me any questions. Just review repeat scan in 6 months. I questioned calcification, he said small and couldn’t explain anything. Hasn’t offered any blood tests recent TSH is 1.5 and taking 75mcg

Synthetic Thyroid Meds just not suiting me
Hello all, I used to take Thiroyd NDT from Thailand. I went to their headquarters in Bangkok in late 2019 and was told that due to an outbreak of swine flu in the region, they had to stop manufacturing Thiroyd NDT. I grabbed 600 pills of Thiroyd from the 50th pharmacy in Bangkok so that lasted me a

Oestrogen dominance & poor T3 conversion
I’m interested to get any information on oestrogen dominance and it’s impacts on thyroid especially with the conversion of T4 into T3 thyroid hormone, which leads to low T3 levels.

Safety of testing 8-12 hrs after last T3
I'm trying to understand the rationale behind testing 24 hrs after last levo and 12 hrs after last T3. I realise it gives a higher TSH and lower T3. My endo asks me to test 4 hours after T3. He has never discussed splitting dose so assume he thinks it will be my full dose (in my case 10mcg). If we

getting it off my chest..another Dr.who says my high HR is too much levothyroxine!
Over 4 and half years ago I caught covid for the first time and ended up with high BP/ HR and put ( and left )on 5 hypertensives till this January when finally got a tilt table test and shown to have bad postural hypotension on standing for 8 mins ( accounting for faints), so obviously some BP drugs

Increase injections?
I currently self inject once a week - I started about 3 months ago as I was having lots of pins and needles and burning in my hands, arms and feet. GP agreed to 10 weekly injections and I’ve continued with those without mentioning the self injecting. I always had a really strong reaction one or two days

Hashi's swings?
Hello lovely people! I've seen people here talking about hashi swings. I'm not yet diagnosed or medicated, but I'm just wondering if these swings can cause such big changes in just a few days? I did a medichecks full test, and finally got a test through the NHS after asking the nurse at surgery. The

Iodine - no thyroid.
I had my thyroid removed in 2003 due to papillary cancer. I have struggled ever since finding the right dosage/supplements. I have just watched Dr Sarah Myhilll's thyroid video for the umpteenth time and have purchased some of her supplements even though some of them contain iodine. Any thoughts

TSH levels - and no help from clinic
Hi all - I really am a bit stuck and not sure how to proceed and would really appreciate some advice. I undertook a blood test in July with Hertility to check testosterone, AMH etc and was surprised to find my TSH was higher than expected: 2.79mIU/L. The Hertility Dr reviewing the results said I should

Hi all. I had my thyroid removed in June and had my first blood test to check TSH levels last week. The test was at 9.40 am, no levothyroxine for over 24 hours and only water before the blood was taken. Serum TSH level 0.29 mlU/L [0.27 - 4.2] My only other result from before my thyroidectomy was
