T3 side effects
I’ve recently seen a private Endo and been prescribed T3 as she said I wasn’t converting my levothyroxine properly. I’m now taking 150 levothyroxine and she started me on 2.5 mcg of T3 3 times per day. Very quickly after that, I broke out in painful spots, felt jittery, hungry, anxious and exhausted.

Two brands of levo?
So, I have been on 50mcg almus... Finally they have increased it to 75... But they've given me 25mcg tablets that are Wockhardt. Is it going to cause me issues using two brands to make up the 75mcg?

I’ve just got my thyroid results back from a blood test I had yesterday, I have a lump near my scar from when I had a thyriodactomy about 36yrs ago. When I had the blood test I had my 150mg of levothyroxine. The test has come back normal. Results attached

Increasing Levo during pregnancy
Hi, I am taking levo from January this year. The dose I am taking is 50 mg . Month ago, decided to increase with - 12,5 for two weeks, but experienced high heart rate and anxiety , ft4 was 20,5 (10,6 - 24,5). During that time I got pregnant. Now I am trying to increase it with only 6 mg ( I am not sure

Levothyroxine concerns.
So I’m about to start 50mcg of Levothyroxine as a trial. I have subclinical Hashimotos. My concern is if after taking the thyroxine for 8 weeks if my TSH comes into normal range but I’m still suffering with symptoms, my GP won’t increase the dose. I asked and they confirmed this. I don’t understand

Hashis question
After nearly 13yrs of being hypo I did an at home test to check antibodies, but I've not got much of an idea if the high antibodies are really high or just a 'normal' level for having Hashis? I've never had a goitre, was told I had a few nodules on the RHS of my thyroid when I was first diagnosed.

Hi all , been gaining some great knowledge from this site over the past few years but now feel I’d like some advice on my latest blood results please. Change of levo brand to Aristo any problems anyone?
Hi, I have found that I'm sensitive to a change of brand and Aristo is now the only brand of levothyroixine at my local pharmacy. Since changing from Accord 2 1/2 months ago I've found that I've been having repeated headaches and weight gain. Also my blood pressure is scarily high. I'm aware this

Looking for help :(
Diagnosed with hashimotos. I’ve had a few ongoing issues and symptoms and they’re getting worse. My endo didn’t believe it was thyroid related or pcos related but arranged for other tests like ACTH, RF etc. He also stated at this point they were discharging me as there’s nothing more they can help with

helvella - Thyroid Blog
You might or might not know that I have been accumulating information about thyroid issues in my blog - I have created a significant number of pages now. Many will be aware of some of the specific pages which I link to quite regularly. But you might not have realised what else is there. Below is a copy

TSH is over 28
Hello, could anyone comment on my blood test, please, because my GP cannot. I am 60 years old female, for the past six months T3 and T4 are normal but after start taking prescribed Levothyroxine TSH went from 8 to 28 and my body temperature dropped to 33C. I have felt extremely weak, constantly

Intermittent fasting (daily 16:8) while taking Levothyroxine - to control weight. Your thoughts please, Is this ok or not advisable?
I’ve read that leaving 16 hours in between eating or drinking anything other than water is an effective way for the body to burn its fat stores. Then during the 8 hour window that you do have food, you make sure you are consuming all the beneficial vitamins, minerals, protein, etc. and sufficient calories

latest nhs results..
They’ve only done the tsh this time (actually I think that will be the norm now), but strangely the return of my symptoms coincides with an NHS tsh test of 1.96 which is EXACTLY the same tsh result as Sept last year when symptoms returned and I asked for the test and then for a small increase from 50
