I've been getting injections for 5 years now. Now I am faced with eliquis. I had a pulmonary embolism and now have to take blood thinners. I don't know what to do.

Considering ablation
84 yo male(just turned) living is US. I have an appointment next week to discuss ablation. I had my heart CT last week. I have been on Eliquis for about 4 years, had afib around once every 3 or 4 months now more frequent weekly. I am a little concerned about having the procedure at my age and if

Does metoprolol succinate cause nocturia
I am on Flecainide 25 mg in am and pm, and metoprolol succinate 25 mg in the am, and 2.5 mg eliquis in am & pm. Although bph can cause nocturia, has metoprolol succinate and eliquis also been known to cause it?

Seeking advise about an implantable loop recorder.
I am a 72 year old male in good health. I had persistent AFIB for many years – probably caused by 40 years of alcoholism. Four years ago, I quit drinking after a mild stroke and began exercising religiously and adhering to a healthy diet. A little over a year ago I had an ablation done, and now I take

Why I stopped metoprolol
Quick summary: I’ve had one ablation, for A-fib, August 2022. All was well A-flutter began in August 2023. I’ve had five cardioversions since then, lasting from three weeks to three days. I am now in A-flutter awaiting an ablation on February 6. Success rate statistically is around 95%. Fingers crossed

new on Flecainide
My afib started 11 years ago with one episode and then went silent for nearly six years . So for the first six years I was on low dose diltiazem and one standard aspirin. for the last four years I was put on Multaq and Eliquis. Multaq kept me in NSR for about a year and then progressively became ineffective

Strange packaging
Is this a new packaging that has only just reached Africa and is there a reason why? I have just opened my new box of Eliquis, and instead of every pocket in the foil strips containing a tablet, some are empty. The box still contains 60 tablets, but why these empty pockets ?

My lymph number has been stable a 6 & not increasing while normal is 4. Basically I'm doing about the same on the

Hi Everyone, I have a question for the wise ones. I will try to keep it as short as possible. In early September feeling good I took the heavy loppers to the climbing roses on the house, next day my right shoulder was very painful and my left sore and with pins and needles at certain angles. Apixaban Eliquis vs Teva
Anyone had issues with Teva Apixaban? My wife has been switched from Eliqius to Teva and now has a number of side effects (anxiety/emotional, nausea, headaches, balance) that she never had while taking Eliqius for 9 years.
