Tobramycin Inhalation
I'm on the 28 days on 28 days off "Toby" and inhale once a day . (Twice a day was too much for me.) I use a numbing throat spray to make the inhale sessions tolerable. The spasm coughing associated with the treatment is bad. Are others experiencing this also? Any treatments other than Toby?

Experiences of hearing loss due to aminoglycoside ototoxicity?
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone can offer me their experience of aminoglycoside related hearing loss? I’m most specifically interested in loss attributed to tobramycin use if there’s anyone here. Small person (now aged 11) has had over 40 courses of IVs using tobi since birth. She had a hearing aid

Bronchiectasis/Brittle Asthma
I am new to this forum and will give some background. I am a chronic brittle asthmatic with a colony of psuedomonas in my lung and I have steadily deteriorating bronchiectasis. We moved house to a different area and it has been a struggle to get a proper care plan together at my new hospital. To be fair

Pseudomonus V meds
It seems I cannot tolerate nebulising Colomycin or Tobramycin , is there any other way to take these as I understand that they are the only meds to help with Pseudomonus? Awaiting hospital getting in touch!

Any ideas please..........
As some of you may remember I am intolerant to so many drugs, including many abs. Also colonised with HI and prior to going on nebbed Tobramycin (and that isn't without probs, although the SOB is spasmodic and not as dramatic as the nebbed colomycin which ended in 5*) started with an infection 5
