propranolol to diltiazem?
Hi there I hope it’s ok for me to post here, I don’t have AF but have been having lots of palpitations and PVCs for a few years. I’ve been on Propranolol 80mg slow release for a couple of years and that’s been ok. However recently my ectopics have intensified and dr switched me to 40mg propranolol 3

Hand grip training for lowering blood pressure?
Good morning all you helpful people. I’ve just heard a fascinating thing on the Zoe podcast, about hand grip strength and high blood pressure. Apparently, using a hand-held device to strengthen your hand grip over several weeks can effectively lower your blood pressure. I’ve had a look online, and it

Hello
Introducing myself, as I'll be looking through posts in the coming weeks... I'm 61, recently diagnosed with AF, but reckon I've been suffering for about 2 years. Biosprolol, Apixaban and Digoxin. Due to do the 'zaps' in 8-12 weeks.

Is this a genuine VT on my Wellue, or not? Thanks
I’ve just started using a Wellue, and it’s brilliant to be able to take a continuous 1 lead ecg (other than downloading and charging time) and the information it gives, with AI analysis. I’ve got a question from those who can read ecgs - my AI analysis says I had some PVCs and then a Ventricular Tachycardia

Seeking advise about an implantable loop recorder.
I am a 72 year old male in good health. I had persistent AFIB for many years – probably caused by 40 years of alcoholism. Four years ago, I quit drinking after a mild stroke and began exercising religiously and adhering to a healthy diet. A little over a year ago I had an ablation done, and now I take

FT3 often higher than FT4; are my symptoms even hypo?
Hello everyone! I've been hypo now for a bit more than two years. Probably three or more, but diagnosed 2 years ago, and also taken levo since then. As doctors can be a bit difficult, and I have felt with no other choice, I have raised my levo dose myself several times. Otherwise I would still be

chronic PVCs
Has anyone with a history of recurrent PCVs had a large dose of systemic corticosteroids for other medical conditions and noted a decrease in the frequency of their PVCs, even if only temporarily, after that?

Flecainide and Diltiazem
Hello fellow AFIBers, I have recently prescribed Flecainide as a replacement anti arrhythmic for Mulaq for afib along with Diltiazem as second blood pressure medications. I am interested to know if any other afiber is taking such combination and his or her side effects. thank you all

Why I stopped metoprolol
Quick summary: I’ve had one ablation, for A-fib, August 2022. All was well A-flutter began in August 2023. I’ve had five cardioversions since then, lasting from three weeks to three days. I am now in A-flutter awaiting an ablation on February 6. Success rate statistically is around 95%. Fingers crossed

24hr Holter
Hi, Recently started back on Bisoprolol for palpitations/PVCs after 7yrs off. I'm on low dose, 1.25mg but they've really calmed down what were pretty uncomfortable symptoms (3 A&E visits in one weekend!) Anyhow, have a holter monitor booked for next week and not sure whether to stop the Bisoprolol or

SVT ablation advice
Hello I have SVT, PACs, PVCs, & a valve issue. It was hard to find the right meds as I have very low blood pressure. My SVT attacks were quite frequent and lasting around 3 hours so I was put on the waiting list for an ablation. In the meantime I started Flecanide and it's been a game changer. I

Low BP in afib and covid
After all the years I have finally caught COVID. Had a headache for a couple of days which has gone now. Not much coughing, just feel a bit achy and weak.Unfortunately, it's sent me into an afib episode although my heart rate is staying below 100bpm in fact it's hovering around 70 to 80bpm. I was concerned

Neck ache with AF?
I hope this doesn't sound too strange but I was wondering if anyone else suffered with neck ache just before and during an AF episode? I get a dull ache at the back of my neck at the base of the skull every time. It was significantly worse during my dobutamine stress test which triggered a bad episode

afib and sleep apnea
I have had 3 failed ablations and my dr ordered a sleep study to see if there is an underlying cause to my afib (I’m 38/f) have had afib since end of 2021. No medication works either. I guess my question is how many ppl also have sleep apnea and afib. Did it help your afib treating the sleep apnea
