AFA Information Links

Some members find it frustrating and difficult to navigate to the wealth of information available on the AF Association and Arrhythmia Alliance website from the forum website.

I post links regularly but these direct links bypass much of the useful information.

How to get to the Menu with all the links (see screenshot)

1 Click on About at the top of any post.

2 Click on the afa.org link under Contact

Should get you to the AFA Website here heartrhythmalliance.org/afa...

3 Click on the Menu button on the top right

That should give you all the links as in the attached screenshot, I find going through the Conditions link and then click on Atrial Fibrillation or Atrial Flutter gives everything you might need but you can browse through any links you might find interesting from that Menu.

Update Edit : TracyAdmin has kindly created a pinned post for us now titled :-

Have you visited the AF Association website?

That didn’t work for me - it took me to The Arrhythmia Alliance and when I clicked on the menu I got a box saying ‘region’ with what should have been a drop-down but wasn’t - maybe doesn’t work for iPad?

So tried clicking on heart on the left top which took me to Arrythmia Alliance - British section and the blue menu!

It’s an issue with the redirect from afa.org.uk to heartrhythmalliance.org/afa...

Another reason some struggle to find the information.

I’ve had this before and deleting the cookies for afa.org.uk and heartrhythmalliance.org has fixed it in the past.

I’ll edit the post to include the link also.

OK, here’s how to fix the corrupt cookies in Apple devices, just had to do it on my iPhone too.

1 Kill all open instances of Safari web browsers

2 Go to Settings then Safari

3 Go to Advanced at the bottom

4 Go to Website Data at the top

Wait for all to load

5 Enter afa in the search

6 Slide afa.org.uk to the left and Delete

7 Enter heart in the search

8 Slide heartrhythmalliance.org to the left and Delete

You’ve now deleted the two cookies that cause the redirect problem from afa.org.uk and the instructions in my post should work for you.
