Newbie!
I've Just picked up my new Spiriva inhaler and
Ventolin
to go with the Symbicort I already take for asthma and after reading posts on this wonderful site I'm on a diet to try and lose a few pounds and I'm plucking up the courage to join the gym next week as I need to get (and hopefully stay) active!

Hello again
The nurse gave me a
ventolin
inhaler, but I'm not sure what happens next. When my mum was diagnosed, she was already at the very severe stage, so I can't really compare her treatment to what I should expect. What do you think???

Asthma, or panic?
I also received pulmicort and
ventolin
inhallations, after which I felt better. But two hours later the next attack. So I stayed the night and got many tests along the way, and had several more attacks.

Awaiting formal diagnosis
Got given a
ventolin
inhaler to take 4 times a day and referred for further tests. The constant rattly chest and feeling like I need to cough has eased greatly with regular use of the inhaler and I am now only using it when I feel my symptoms flaring up.

Bad attack. Prednisolone, low phosphate
Docs not sure what's even going on I don't think as my peak flow is really good yet I can't go more than 3 hrs without
ventolin
and I'm easily out of breath. Odd. Also on 4 puffs twice a day of the beclomestone brown inhaler so 800. Anyone got any experience of this or any advice?

Mild asthma
I'm just wondering if that seems consistent with mild asthma or whether something else may be interfering with it as well and causing the need to use
ventolin
more? I just thought with mild asthma, you didn't really have symptoms that often or much at night?

Just another thing - Kidney Stones!
Grabbing my bag and desperately trying to find the spacer and
ventolin
- it had to be breathing..... Sure enough my husband was bent over fighting for breath.

Spacers for inhalers
The practice nurse at my local clinic gave me one for use with
ventolin
. Are there also spacers available for the other kinds of inhalers, i.e. Spiriva & Seretide?

Ventolin
Does anyone else find that
ventolin
- salbutamol does not relive the symptoms at all? It used to work for me but for over the last couple of years it doesn't do a thing. Has anyone tried any other inhaler that works? Thanks

I had took 6 puffs of
ventolin
in 40 mins but things where getting no better so had to get ambulance people as my oxygen levels had been on 92 for over a hour. Ambulance people stayed with me over a hour and oxygen levels did go back up to 96 in the end.
