Allergic Asthma and Train Travel.
My
Ventolin
was a God send but seeing people's reaction to an attack and explaining what the cause was, well let's say they were shocked.

I've been prescribed
ventolin
but on reading the leaflet it says there can be an interaction while taking Amiodarone (I'm also on Bi soprolol and Warfarin). I rang the pharmacy and was told nothing was flagged up. Does anyone here take both Amiodarone and
Ventolin
? Thanks

Recovery from asthma attack
However I returned home with predisone to be tapered off over three weeks plus my
ventolin
inhaler and the new fostair 200 in replace of my clennil. Its been a long struggle now in week 6 and back on predisone 5mg per day and starting to feel like normal again.

When your asthma nurse gives up on you maybe there is something else happening
With no help other than Nurse Google I put my collection of inhalers in a draw only the
Ventolin
stayed nearby.

GP appointments
After inhaling
Ventolin
and resting I began to feel well enough not to call an ambulance. I phoned my surgery for an appointment but was told I couldn't see my GP until the 16 March. I was none too pleased about this but accepted that date.

I am on another inhaler called fostair along with
ventolin
. I also have a condition called scoiosis which is curvature of the spine. My ribs are twisted and are crushing my lungs also. I have had surgery which I had a rod inserted and discs taken from my right side.

Feeling blah.
Upped my
ventolin
even though my peak flow was good (better than it has been for a while actually) gargling with soluble paracetamol has calmed my throat but still losing my voice now and again.

Today is so far a good day
Good enough my Asthma nurse phoned me back within 10 mins and told me to double up on my seretide and to use the
ventolin
as often as I needed and if things got no better. To phone out of hours to see a dr or to get to hospital. Luckily things started to improve.

My story so far....
The last few nights I have been woken my acid squirting at the back of my throat and then my airways close and I need to use a
ventolin
inhaler. I had a chest X-ray that was clear in September.

nighttime coughing
Haven't slept for days as cant stop coughing from midnight onwards. have used my
Ventolin
in spacer (up to 15 puffs as advised by respiratory nurse at hospital) this only helps for a few hours and then cough back again. Been sitting upright with drinks honey etc but nothing seems to work!!
