Am I at risk of an attack?
I've recently got a spacer and I'm taking
Ventolin
and a 125 dose of Seritide 2 puffs, twice a day but more recently 3 puffs twice a day. Recently I noticed I'm wheezing more. It's when I exhale longer and harder than usual that I hear a high pitched, wheeze noise come from my airways.

MTX and Asthma
Hi I have chronic hay fever and I use a
ventolin
pump for about 2 weeks mid summer . I’m feeling very dizzy when I use it more than usual . I was told MTX would be ok . Feeling fed up of being ill all the time #

Breathlessness and Bronchiectasis
I mentioned I am using my
Ventolin
(blue inhaler) more during afternoons, evening and sometimes at night. He said he didn't know why, bronchiectasis doesn't cause breathlessness. I'm pretty sure wasn't this bad before the newish drugs but he said no. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Failed by asthma care
I did an event with work last week and on the Wednesday my chest felt tight but I cleared it myself with my
Ventolin
, on the Thursday at the same event I had an attack, they got St John’s Ambulance to me and two nebs later I was fine.

Feeling ticked off
He prescribed a
ventolin
inhaler and emergency antibiotics just in case. I haven’t needed to take the antibiotics but I’ve now lost my voice for the second time this year, which has never happened to me before. I’m not in pain but I am coughing, it’s really bad at bed time (typical!).

Scared and want answers
I've had mild asthma my whole life which was controlled by the occasional use of
ventolin
. I'm a very fit person and run and do CrossFit....well I was until I had a nasty cold last September after doing the great eastern half end since then I've not been able to breath properly!

Cough not wheeze
After 10 days of using too much
ventolin
ie every 2 hours, constant coughing and sleeping upright in a chair culminating in a very bad weekend I ventured to the doctor's.

Newly diagnosed at 40 & Ventolin questions! Long, sorry!
I had to have extra
Ventolin
in the end. I have to go back on 29th May for a review to see how I’ve got on with the
Ventolin
I assume, but is it normal to treat it this way? Is it just to see if it helps before giving me something more regular?

Unstable peak flow
I’m taking regular
ventolin
thoughout the day and night. I keep on getting my peak flow up to 380/400 but then keeps on dropping 250/280 and can’t get it to stay up. I’m due at the chest clinic on Thursday afternoon so trying to hold out for the steroids to kick in and going to chest clinic.

Asthma & Acid Reflux,
Are presently going down this track as my previously controlled asthma (one
ventolin
a year required when having a chest infection) to now (past 3 yrs) being on Symbicort, Spiriva, and currently on weaning off of prednisone (since Oct 18.)

Argh
Regular
ventolin
to get through it or if no better to go back to A&E. Only everyone keeps complaining at me for taking so many steroids but then can’t offer an alternative treatment plan and advice me to carry on the same. I’m sick of chasing answers!

Super sensitive
This was about four years ago and since then I've been taking: 400mg Pulmicourt, Spiriva Respimat and
Ventolin
. I was on Singular but recently decided to come off it with zero impact on my asthma.

Inhalers and reflux
I take Fostair NEXThaler and the occasional puff of
Ventolin
for bronchiectasis and asthma. More recently I've started getting reflux, for which I've been given Omeprazole.

Week 6 asthma attack just after I’d entered London Marathon ballot!
I always dose up on my fostair before I go out and I always take my
ventolin
out with me but I just couldn’t run through it. So I walked instead. I was gutted.

How do you know you have a chest infection?
Ventolin
helps for about an hour at a time. Sounds like an infection, right? However, the mucus I’m coughing up is clear/white, and I have zero fever. Despite my lungs having become a highly efficient slime production facility, I feel fine.

To test this theory, I normally take my dose in the morning and I don't have to use
Ventolin
except when I go skating, but over the past few weeks my chest has been really tight and I didn't feel as though the
Ventolin
was working when I needed it.

Starting Fostair 100/6
I was taking
ventolin
and clenil modulite. I’ve now been put on fostair 100/6 2 puffs morning and night to try and help me and try and stop this cough I can’t get rid of! Has anyone else recently started this and found a huge difference? I’m really hoping this inhaler will work!
