i've posted another question on here and now cannot find it.....
i've been breathless for 5 weeks now...i had a chest infection that flared up my asthma...i was on ventolin and seratide but the seratide has been stopped and replaced with Trimbow[i was sensitive to it]now Spioilto it has stopped the cough but done nothing for the breathlessness....i'm getting down in the dumps as i'm so fed up with doing a bit and having to rest....anyone out there got any ideas......does this inhaler build up and help the more you take...i think i will have to try another but there are so many meds i;m allergic too.

It does take time to recover from an infection, but if you feel you are not getting better then do go back to your GP.
It is hard when you feel so tired, but unfortunateky viral infections can take several weeks to recover from. Be gentle with yourself. If your peak flow is down or you need to extra ventolin everyday then you need to be have that reviewed to check you are on the right asthma medication. I do understand being allergic to medications and it is trial and error sometimes, but keep putting one foot in front of the other and don't be afraid to go back to the doctor for another review. Hope it all settles down soon. xx
thanks for your encouragement.....i know it will take a long time but i wake up every morning looking for an improvement and there is none then i start to tell myself i'll never get well i'll always be like this.....so thanks for your input....to know people care enough to post a reply means a lot to me xxxxx
