Asthma attack
I'm one to make light of things, and can often ignore ailments if I can, but that was absolutely terrifying, and I felt sure that if the
Ventolin
hadn't finally worked, I wouldn't have lasted until the ambulance came.

Inhalers which one first
I have seen people say that they take one puff of
ventolin
every morning and that opens the airways for another medicine. On the other hand others have said that is totally wrong as the
ventolin
will cover whatever part in the lungs and stop the other mess from working as well as they could.

Work dilemma...
I'm needing my
ventolin
on a daily basis at the moment, and really, really don't want to have to take oral steroids again. Any thoughts on what I could say to my boss without seeming like a complainer? I really like the job otherwise and want to stay.

Mast Cell Stabilisers
Not being able to tolerate steroids without very debilitating side effects, I'm still looking for something to add to the Uniphyllin 400 &
Ventolin
(plus just one small dose of Seretide 50).

Asthma or copd
I'm currently being investigated for asthma, I'm on
ventolin
and fobumix inhalers, which don't do a great deal. I'd like a ct scan on my chest, but not sure how to get one. I've had a spirometery and lung function test, both of which were great. I just done get it.

Inhaler ventolin prescription
Recently renewed my
ventolin
prescription as my previous 2 have expired. I don’t need to use them most days but carry them with me as a precaution. However they have prescribed me with one (requested 2).

Ventolin Inhaler -Alternative
Although I have to regularly take lots of medication daily as well as nebulisers I have noticed that my
Ventolin
Inhaler doesn’t seem to work at all like it used to do. My question is, is there an alternative to
Ventolin
as a fast acting bronchial dilator?

Does the body get used to ventolin ?
Hi! I've had a horrible time with my asthma during the past 4 months and unfortunately it doesn't seem to be getting any better right now. As a result of this, I've started to take more puffs of ventoline (sometimes more than 10 in one day!) otherwise I couldn't do anything. However, I noticed that

ALLERGIC REACTION
5 days later I am still suffering the effects, but am back on the Fostair with my reliever
Ventolin
in between and beginning to recover. I have always been very wary of medications but we are at the mercy of what is available to help.

Week 1 run 1
I wanted to give up just over half way through as my legs felt like lead and I realised I would probably benefit from a puff of
ventolin
. Maybe I ran too fast at the start, will try slower next time. I’ve never felt I’ve been able to run it’s sort of a weird waddle, anyhow I’ve tried.

Asthma copd overlap.
As I get %18 reversibility and once I've had 4 puffs of
ventolin
my Spirometry just about creeps into the low end of normal fev1. Now here's my problem on a daily basis that I'm hoping someone will know something about. I have been trying combi inhalers.

Help, think my 'moderate COPD' diagnosis is wrong!
Anyway she did the test, told me I have moderate COPD and sent me away with no support/information or advice (and a
ventolin
inhaler) I was shocked to say the least, I am a smoker but have never had any symptoms before March this year when the doc told me I had a chest infection.
