O & V TREATMENT UPDATE PRE 4TH INFUSUON CHECK UP.
I am asking my social director to set up a family dinner while I am feeling so good pre
Venetoclax
ramp up next week. 3. Left side of torso pain is nearly all gone which is huge. It will now not stop me from being active. It was so bad I had to be very careful not to cause further injury. 4.

Immunocomprised and suddenly have an asymptomatic Covid infection!
My husband has CLL and is in treatment (finished Obinutuzumab, now on
Venetoclax
). He has had two pretty severe Covid infections; first one in June 2022, second one in December 22. The second infection turned into long Covid (fatigue, daily low grade fevers) - lasting over six months now.

CLL Treatment concerns
can a BCL Inhibitor like
Venetoclax
help with the same thing? Is anyone in the group taking
Venetoclax
as only treatment for their CLL. My Dr is doing a clinical trial with Lisaftoclax (APG -2575) it is a BCL inhibitor.

Fluconozale
Does anyone know anything about the use of this anti-fungal ( fluconozale) that helps with the absorption of ibrutinib or
venetoclax
? It seems like it means you can reduce the dosage by about 1/3. This is really important for those who are self funding.

Possibly Failing Calquence - what’s next?
Was in remission till 2017, I opted for
venetoclax
, drug had to be dicontinued due to adverse reaction and neutropenia, but I achieved remission. In 2019 had another node biopsy in neck, cll related, pet scan numerous nodes above and below diaphragm.

CLL treatment
I was wondering if anyone is on
Venetoclax
and infusions of Obinutuzumab.my
Venetoclax
has been increased to 400mg a day. White cell count is low and I'm having lots of diarrhoea and tummy pain.

BTK Degrader Shows Potential for Treating Refractory CLL and SLL
All patients had previously received a BTK inhibitor and just over 75% had also been treated with
venetoclax
. Of the 17 patients with CLL/SLL, 23.5% had unmutated IGHV and 17.6% had TP53 mutations/deletions.

Results on triple combination (A+V+O) for high risk patients -with-chronic-lymphocytic-leukemia-or-small-lymphocytic-lymphoma-cll
The Bottom Line: In this ongoing trial, the triple combination therapy using acalabrutinib,
venetoclax
, and obinutuzumab is highly active.

Median PFS for FCR treated CLL patients with IGHV-M was 14.6 years vs 4.2 years for patients with IGHV-UM. V+O and I+R look to be superior
The big advantages of combination targeted therapies (
venetoclax
+ obinutuzumab and ibrutinib+ rituximab shown in the accompanying PFS plots), are that not only are they proving superior to FCR, you don't need to be a young (aged 65 or younger), fit patient to go through these treatments

A hellish 2 months. Very confused about MRD measurements.
My neutrophils were zero, and the doctor told me to stop
Venetoclax
immediately. When I finally came back home, at my next oncology appointment I was told to resume
Venetoclax
at the full 400mg dose.

Fascinating: Development of Venetoclax
Particularly for those on
Venetoclax
, or considering the drug, I couldn't resist sharing it.

Venetoclax availability
I have just read that Abbievie, the manufacturers of
Venetoclax
are pulling out of the NHS National pricing agreement, on the basis that they aren't being paid enough to continue research, etc.

What shall i do??
Since previous week, acalabrutinib is available in the Netherlands, possibly together with
venetoclax
. That seems much better to me. Can i refuse FCR, and ask for Acalabrutinib, or follow the doctor’s advice??

Update and the end of Ibrutinib
2 dosage blood and doctor will see if we have to stop
venetoclax
for awhile to bring blood-count up I am not sure with all this , oncologist in ambulance-hospital doesn't spend enough time to talk with patient and I got the feeling to go back to Ibrutinib ,maybe I am wrong .

Intermittent fasting
I am on the O&V program although am now only taking
venetoclax
(400 mg daily). I am also a type 2 diabetic and am considering doing intermittent fasting. Is that a good idea?

I have been on 400 mg dose of
Venetoclax
since September 2022. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what was done about it?

What to do hmmmmm
A) LOXO 305 Trial (Bruin 321) Or B)
Venetoclax
and Rituximab Being 17p deleted I was thinking of going forward with Option A assuming I was selected. But maybe Option B would be easier since they’ve already been approved . Just not really excited about all the testing that comes with a trial.

Lymph Node Resurgence
Completed my last Gazyva in June and am still on my
Venetoclax
through the end of the year. Some of my lymph nodes that went down are starting to get a bit larger again. My doctor says all of my labs look great!

Obinuzuzumab & venetoclax
Morning.. Could I just ask, for those on this treatment, did you need much time off work, i have completed cycle 1 & so far so good, we're any of you able to return to work during treatment? My consultant advises waiting until after cycle 3 but what are other people's experiences. Thanks
