Venetoclax/Ibrutinib trial needing surgery
Hi, I have been on Ibrutinib for 6 months and added
Venetoclax
2 weeks ago. My WBC is in range and my Lymphocytes and Neutrophils are within a few points of being in range already. Unfortunately, I tore the meniscus in my knee and a flap is in the joint creating lots of pain.

Question: Has anyone have a bloating feeling on Venetoclax ?
I have been on full
Venetoclax
for 2 weeks and I feel bloated and some indigestion a lot. My Doctor says he does not feel stomach nodes or the spleen growing. Hopefully it is more of an stomach thing. Has anyone have a bloating feeling or something like this on
Venetoclax
? Thanks, Hoffy

Update from IwCLL 2017
Combination therapy will be at its heart and
Venetoclax
will probably be involved. I'm really well, now 18 months on the
Venetoclax
plus Obinutuzimab trial, still traveling from Melbourne to london every 3 months but am making the most of life.

Weird red Mark on my leg.
I am on imbruvica plus
Venetoclax
clinical trial. Is this something that happens with ibruvica ? Or V? Anything to be concerned about? Trial has been going well. Blood levels are back to normal within four months of starting a trial. I feel good energy has gotten much better.

Bloodwise would like your experience of Ventoclax for treatment assessment for NHS Scotland
- What was your experience of being treated with
venetoclax
? What impact did it have on you and your family? - How did treatment with
venetoclax
differ from other treatments you have experienced? - Were there any disadvantages of taking
venetoclax
?

Venetoclax - Day 25 - 200mg
In the interim mum became weaker and bed ridden, stopped eating and there was concern the dose of
Venetoclax
(50mg) was not high enough to see her through to the next escalation the following week :( Thankfully the Drs added flucanazole to her medications, which amplified the strength of

Low platelets and no taste - Venetoclax- Day 45
Mum has been out of hospital for a week and a half!! :) :) the minute she got out she felt a bit better, though incredibly weak and still needing a wheelchair. But oh so happy!! :) it makes such a difference not being there anymore and not having a hospital mattress to sleep on. Although we are still

Happy Easter everyone! So on this journey since Dec. 2010 and we can't seem to hit that remission "sweet spot" that we read about in the stats or trials - is it us or just the reality of how everyone's battle is unique in the world of CLL? We started V at the end of Feb. 2017 (as I posted our experience

CLL patient in CT
She recommended an IV chemo drug or possibly
Venetoclax
, neither of which I was anxious to take. My local MD and I decided to try Ibrutinib at one tab every three days. .

Switching from Ibrutinib to Venetoclax
For those who have made the switch, did you need to take a break from ibrutinib before starting the
Venetoclax
, or did you just make the transition without one? Does it matter if you are switching because of side effects, or because of disease progression? Thanks so much!
