Get your thyroid checked.
Start
Venetoclax
next month. But I'm still very fatigued and getting headaches, so this week I asked OSU to check my thyroid levels. (I already have an underactive thyroid and have been on Synthroid - not the generic - for about five years.) Sure enough, my thyroid is too low.

Secondary cancer?
Been on Ibrutinib and
venetoclax
for 4 months and doing very well. My wbc is down but just had a mammogram and need more testing as something suspicious has shown up. Just curious. Thanks

Duvelisib or not?
I am on the CAPTIVATE trial combining Ibrutinib and
Venetoclax
and it seems to me that adding something like Duvelisib would go after another pathway to neutralize whatever could be left of the CLL.

New 17P- w questions about EGCG and normal 2nd 17th chromosome
. $12-15K for Ibrutinib and
Venetoclax
. While it's hard to imagine that a concentrated green tea extract might be the missing link, it certainly seemed to be pointing the needle the right direction for me. Does anyone know what happened to the EGCG trials?

Not MRD- yet
Although a full remission due to the excellent synergy of Ibrutinib (9 periods) and
Venetoclax
(6 periods) there is still a level of approx 10 percent of cll disease in my pb. Ofcourse I hoped to be one of the succesful cohort Dr.

Treated with Venetoclax with rituximab for relapsed or refractory CLL then Bloodwise need help for the NICE appraisal on 22 Jun.
The request is for a NICE appraisal of
venetoclax
in combination with rituximab for treating relapsed or refractory CLL. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has had the treatment.

New Clinical Trial of Ibrutinib + Venetoclax for people relapsing on Ibrutinib
I know this sounds crazy for a trial, but the main reason is that they are going to test a non-standard dosage of Ibrutinib, while the
Venetoclax
dose is the standard 400mg dose. Hence,
Venetoclax
is considered 'standard of care' for relapsed with a 17p deletion.

ASH 2017: Dr. Richard Furman on the importance of MCL-1 in CLL (chronic lymphocytic leukemia)
From the CLL Society website: As good as
venetoclax
is as a single agent, there are now many studies that show even more remarkable responses occur when it is used in combination with ibrutinib or rituximab. See this on the Murano trial from ASH 2017 that combined V+ rituximab.

Combination therapy with Ibrutinib and Venetoclax?
Does anyone know if you can get the combination of Ibrutinib and
Venetoclax
without being in a trial? We live in the US ( Wisconsin). I am reading that the two together gives a great punch to that CLL. My husband has been on Ibrutinib for 2 months now.

CLL: FLAIR Trial site list and update to design
This will leave an equal chance of randomisation between FCR, ibrutinib alone (I) and ibrutinib +
venetoclax
(I+V). To provide a bit of background, the trial began as a comparison between FCR and IR in September 2014. In July 2017 we adapted the trial to add in the I and I+V arms.

Venetoclax ramp up
My mother has advanced CLL and has just begun taking
Venetoclax
. The doctors have decided to accelerate the drug ramp up to take only ten days to get to the 400mg, whilst under medical supervision. I was wondering if anyone had had a similar experience and how well the journey went

Dizziness when getting up too fast or bending over.
I have been pretty inactive the last year due to bad fatigue from the Ibrutinib plus
Venetoclax
trial I’m in. Could this be do to lack of exercise and being out of shape? Any of you ever experience this? It’s kinda scary.
