Lymph Node Resurgence
Completed my last Gazyva in June and am still on my
Venetoclax
through the end of the year. Some of my lymph nodes that went down are starting to get a bit larger again. My doctor says all of my labs look great!

Celebrating the end of treatment with a case of Covid!
On Monday I took my last
Venetoclax
from a year of treatment. Woo hoo! About a week before, I noticed that my lymph nodes in my underarms felt swollen and I got worried that my SLL had returned but they didn't feel swollen to the touch.

Venetoclax and coughing (a lot)
Since I started
Venetoclax
(in July) I have coughed and coughed up as well as had sinuses absolutely full of alternatively green and brown mucus. I cannot believe the huge amounts I am coughing up. Although I did have an early bacterial infection, subsequent samples are pretty much negative.

Bumps In The Road
The
venetoclax
is also on hold again, of course. I am still here and I am writing this from my fun isolation covid hospital room. I have to wait for 48 hours with no fever and increased neutrophil counts before being discharged.

irutinib plus venetoclax
Would love to hear from anyone that has been doing the fixed duration treatment with irutinib plus
venetoclax
or accalabrutinib plus
venetoclax
. What has been your experience and, knowing what you know now, would you choose this treatment plan again?

Any recent experiences of AIHA developing in progressive CLL - particularly in those treated with or awaiting Venetoclax treatment?
Venetoclax
ramp up put on hold. High dose corticosteroid, folic acid anticoagulants prescribed. Back next week to assess blood changes.

I looked at it but apparently there are several phases, this is the one we are looking at: BRUIN CLL-322: a Phase 3 open-label, randomized study of fixed duration pirtobrutinib (LOXO-305) plus
venetoclax
and rituximab versus
venetoclax
and rituximab in previously treated Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

CLL diagnosis with Obinutuzumab and Ventoclax offered as treatment
I have been advised to start immunotherapy treatment soon, a combination of Obinutuzumab and
Venetoclax
. I also have had a skin cancer growth develop on my left forearm which has been diagnosed as a low-grade squamous cell carcinoma. Has anyone else had skin cancer developed with CLL?

I’m doing better
The short story is that I have struggled with stomach pain for 6 months we thought was related to
venetoclax
, and maybe it was. The real culprit turned out to be a bug called h pylori. Did
venetoclax
lower my immunity and allow the bug in? Who knows.

CLL Treatment Options
I have been offered 2 treatment options - a 1 Year Course of Obinutuzumab Infusion plus
Venetoclax
tablets; or Acalabrutinib Tablets for ever. I would like to understand the comparative results of the two options including likely side effects so that I can make a choice. Thanks

I’ve been on
Venetoclax
for 14 months now and would just like to say that this drug has done wonders for me. My bloods have not been this good in 6 years. I have suffered very few side effects and would recommend it to anyone due to start treatment.

Initial Obinutuzumab (flush?)Reaction leading to ER
Due to to certain circumstances, my Oncologist had already put me on
Venetoclax
. I had approx 4-5 days of
Venetoclax
(at 20 mg a day) already taken. At this point I was Stage 4 CLL.
