Cirrhosis makes me sleep all day & night -- any remedies?
Hi! I'm new here. I have had NASH for many years and it has now turned into cirrhosis. I have numerous varices, and had a near-fatal episode of bleeding from my varices a few years ago. The varices have responded well to banding, but I am now astonishingly tired. Sleeping 18 to 22 hours a day is not

PD and depression and sleep disturbance meds
with PD we also may have other conditions that require medications. in my experience the best medical professional to prescribe meds that help other issues without contraindications to necessary PD meds is the psychiatrist. PD is a brain disorder and so are depression and sleep. also the psychiatrist

Valsartan causes cancer
Hi everyone...was wondering if anyone on here with cancer had been taking the blood pressure medicine, Valsartan, that the FDA recalled because it has a carcinogen that causes cancer. I have taken it since 2013, and all of a sudden I have stage 4 breast cancer.

A recall is underway across Europe following recent and emerging information that a potentially carcinogenic impurity has been identified as part of the manufacturing process in a valsartan active substance, manufactured at one facility based in China. If you are taking any of the affected valsartan

According to the Times today the anti blood pressure drug Valsartan is being recalled because of contamination with a chemical that causes cancer. http://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/78a060a4-80a4-11e8-a645-f0478472c67b

Hello...I'm a newbie here. Seeking Tinnitus help.
Hello all. I found your site after doing a search for Tinnitus on the NRAS page for Rheumatoid Arthritis/Rheumatoid Disease. I have had Tinnitus since December 2017/January 2018. I am seeing an ENT, but have only had one appointment so far. I am scheduled for a hearing test at my next appointment.

Peripheral neuropathy and burning feet
Saw some comments a few days ago, and wanted to remind everyone to carefully read the literature that comes with all your drugs. For a couple of years, I have had intense burning feet, especially in the evenings, and assumed it just went with the neuropathy. Not so! After studying all my medicine literature

Metoprolol action
When I was diagnosed with atrial flutter in February of 2016, my GP prescribed Metoprolol 25 mg with the words that it did three things: address the heart rate, the heart rhythm, and the blood pressure. At the time, I was also taking for blood pressure 25 mg Hydrochlorothiazide and Ramipril 5 mg, but
