Nausea
Hi I've been taking
Urso
now for about 1 month now. I take half with my lunch and half with my dinner. I was fine up until a few days ago when I now seem to feel a bit nauseous about an hour or two after the lunchtime one. Is this normal and if so does it settle down.

Could we have caught it super early?
My GI doctor is now saying I do not have PBC and has taken me off my
URSO
. I have hypothyroidism with a sudden onset of it in 2014 after a serious bout of illness. (I had to have a colonoscopy where the initial thought was colitis but pathology came back negative.)

Urso
Hi just wondering did anyone start off taking
Urso
slowly and build up the dose over a couple of weeks. I want to try and avoid as many side effects as possible and wondered if this helped your system get used to it. Thanx

Urso without a definitive diagnosis
Has anyone been treated with
URSO
without a definitive diagnosis? If one doesn't want to have a biopsy and is AMA negative?

Is anyone else a bit of an anomaly?
In general I appear to be an
urso
-responder. On average my ALP is less than 1.67 ULN. My ALT is usually a bit raised. However I have had a limited number flare-ups of ALP even whilst on
urso
. Most recently, last October when it was 280.

Options for PBC Itch?
I am an "incomplete" responder to
Urso
and Ocaliva (on both). I take Cholestyramine but in the past year the itching has gotten significantly worse where I scratch all night, am scaring up my arms and legs and tear the dead dry skin off the soles of my feet.

Clinical Trial
Hi everyone, I’ve just been asked if I’d like to go on a clinical trial called RHUDEX It’s a second stage trial as my PBC isn’t being managed effectively with
Urso
. Is anyone else on this or has any knowledge of it? Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve been on.

PBC prognosis
I'm on
urso
and my blood levels are now normal. I know it isn't possible to say, but is there a chance that I may never develop symptoms? Do some people stay well and the disease doesn't progress? Or does everyone become symptomatic eventually? Thanks

GGT
Diagnosed with pbc in October, started staking
urso
mid October, had a bad bout of biliary colic due to gallstones in November. Just had some bloods done ready for my 3 month check mid January. Looks like all but my ggt have come back into range. Ggt was 311 in October, now it's 64.

New post about Itch
I've had PBC for 10 years and being an
Urso
responder, have pretty much been in denial as I had no symptoms until the itch started about 6 months ago.
