Private endos in Kent, please
My sister, early sixties, is having a lot of health problems which might be thyroid/adrenals/pituitary related. She is on a waiting list to see a NHS endo but is not diagnosed with any thyroid problem. She had a test with GP which came back TSH 3.7 and FT4 10 (but no ranges). She is considering a test

Levo dose advice during IVF cycle - impact of HRT
Hello again š Iām wondering if anyone has any insight on the impact of HRT on Levo - Estrogen & Progesterone specifically which are the medications given during a Frozen Embryo Transfer cycle. NICE says there is anecdotal evidence of a moderate interaction between the medications. The progesterone

I donāt know the scenario of these results
Hi I have just been given my TSH which is 0.20 & then the T4 11.10mcg/dl I didnāt ask for it. The lab obviously took the initiative. My GP note only said donāt worry we will test again in 8 weeks ? What would I worry about ? I have not been told what to do surely an adjustment ? My face is flushed

These are my most recent results. Blood was taken first thing in the morning, fasted and before I took my medication. The lab ranges are also shown above. How can my tsh be so low and my t3 still be so low/not optimal? I'm on 150 levothyroxine. Am I right that I might need some t3? And if so, would

QQ Asking for a friend - TSH/FreeTs target on NDT the same as Levo or Levo/T3?
Hi a quick question from me today. I have a friend with hashis on NDT. Iāve stepped lightly as I observe her symptoms just arenāt getting any better, but she puts a lot of faith in her doctorsā¦ who say her thyroid panel is ānormal.ā Hasnāt wanted my opinion and experience, until today. Since Iām on

Pinkeye
Hi all, Mum was recently hospitalised with neck and foot pain, due to hypothyroidism. She also developed bad pinkeye, at the same time as the neck pain. Could this be thyroid eye disease? When she was in hospital for the second time with the foot pain and being unable to walk, her TSH was ~5.9.

Sadly I am still not optimal yet.
In May this year after 9 months of titrating up from 25-125mcg, I thought that I was finally there. TSH was 0.808 (0.27-4.20) and FT4 was 21.5 (11-22) and agreed to test after 3 months to see if I had stabilised. Sadly just checked the NHS app as bloods were done Friday and can see that my TSH is now

Reducing
I'm thinking of reducing from 20mg to 15mg of predisolone, in previous Post I said that I am also dealing with thyroid result out of range TSH too high so thyroxine medication increased, not sure if breathlessness is a result of thyroid or inflammation, my shoulder and Pelvic pain has improved, any advice

Happy to be Here again!
I'm so happy to be back. Still on hyperthyroidism medications since 2020. My doc said we can't just stop it all like that with series of TSH tests and reviews monthly, hopefully all medications will stop one dayš

Difference in levels-stress?
I've been on leventhyroxine for years for underactive thyroid. Had yearly check muddle of Feb. TSH 2.09. Had full bloods for something else (WRS) and levels are 0.36 by middle if April. I'm wondering if stress can cause TSH to go up or down? Dr. Says this is in normal range for lab- but normal

Test Results - How bad is it?
Hi all, I went to the GP as I keep getting sharp pains in my right abdomen (upper quadrant) and multiple bruises appearing beneath my ribcage area, mostly on the right side but sometimes left. The doctor ordered a whole bunch of tests, including thyroid. My results came back abnormal for thyroid. Everything

TPO positive, history of early miscarriage's, no need to medicate however still being referred to endocrinologist?
Previously when speaking with my GP's I have not really got very far and didn't really feel like my concerns were being addressed or even acknowledged. No face to face or even telephone conversations, just the same old cycle of being sent for bloods then being told all ok or 'currently stable' etc.

Hi Everyone Long time, no post so I apologise. Since I last spoke to anyone I have been diagnosed with Osteoperosis, so fighting a number of demons. My Rheumatologist has been concerned about my ever decreasing levels of calcium despite eating calcium rich food and doubling my prescribed Calcium supplements

51 yr old woman with lots of symptoms needing help understanding results!
Hello! There is a history of thyroid disorders in my family (sister, mum, grandmother). I have increasingly more health issues that may or may not be also linked to peri-menopause although I have been on HRT for a while. I have high cholesterol, hearing loss (non age-related, unexplained), muscle pains

It it normal for levels to change so much in two weeks? (TTC after loss)
TW: miscarriage Unfortunately had a miscarriage on 1st July. Since then I had a thyroid test at the GP and carried out my own at home finger prick test because I wanted to check out my antibodies and vitamin levels before TTC again. 13 July: TSH 1.35 (0.35-5.5) T4: 17.5 (10.5-21) Attached latest
