Pulmonary Rehab and other bits and bobs
Had my assessment letter this morning for the rehab, has left me feeling both happy and worried. Why worried you may ask, well I ended up in hospital 2 nights ago with severe chest pains, ended up seeing the consultant in the morning and I have to have tests for angina, I opted for the non invasive but

Angina
Hi I have been experiencing chest pain on & off for the last few years. It comes on suddenly, severe chest pain but only lasts for about 5 to 10 mins. I have a few days experiencing episodes of this & then it disappears again. I had an episode on Friday so thought I had best get it checked out. I ended

Update to cardiologist visit.
Good morning dear friends. Have been awake for a couple of hours mulling things over and over in my mind. I am sure you can all relate to this. Had an earlier appointment with my cardiologist yesterday, echocardiogram. Another ECG . Upshot of it is, he wants to do more investigations. Was given the option

Augmentation? I'm guessing yes.
I'm new here and hope to contribute to and benefit from this site. Nighttime RLS started in 2010. My GP started me on Requip 1mg on 1/10/11. Worked for some months and then dosage was increased to Requip XL 2mg on 9/2/11. Worked very well for a couple of years and then worsening daytime and nightime

Son’s 1st day on Quillivant
My son is 7(8 in less than 6wks) and I noticed when he was 3/4 that he was ALWAYS extremely hyper, never still, constantly talking, no activity kept him interested for long, usually did several things at once...often not completing one. Once he was upset, it took a lot to bring him down and his emotions

Anyone with ME taken ADHD Meds?
Hello! I have had ME for twenty years and have been unable to work since 2003. I have Fibromyalgia and Hypothyroidism too (to my mind they are all inexorably interlinked). Also, I’ve finally had a diagnosis of ADD (lost the Hyperactive bit when I got sick - in fact probably *got* sick partly because

But I don't have angina ... The outcome
Saw the GP (finally) today! Showed me all the correspondence, one consultant thinks "might be" one says "NOT angina". Cholesterol is normal, angiogram shows no obstructions or thickening. He agreed that the results are not al all conclusive, he doesn't think it was angina! I then questioned how I explain

Need advice
So I always have chest pain and I always google. 90%of the time google shows up things I know I don't have but it also shows up my pain could be Angina. So I emailed my cardiologist today and asked her if she thought I had angina. She knows about my anxiety issues and is really good about answering me

verapamil
Has anyone been given verapamil to use as a pill in the pocket to either stop tachycardia or stop pvc's ? I was at the ER a couple of days ago with tachycardia that lasted almost four hours. 100ml of Flecainide didn't stop it so they did a chemical cardioversion and it stopped it straight away. I'm always
