Hello I wanted to know what it means if you have TPO anibodies . I recently had my routine blood work done and my TSH went from Hypo to Hyper , so now they are testing TPO and TSI. My TPO antibodies came back at 2, which I guess is good because its less than <9. I wonder if im just too medicated.

Negative thyroid antibodies with TPO of 20 (TG antibodies not checked). Different opinions as to cause ie 1. Nodules are producing thyroxin leading to hyperthyroidism and 2.

Endo tested me for tpo antibodies due to my family history and thinks they'll be positive and that is why last year I had a positive ANA, but he said there is nothing can be done about them even if I do have them (I havent had results yet).

Thyroid peridase antibodies (TPO) >900. EPV Early antigen D AB (IGG) is 119. These results are astronomically out of range. Natural Dr. ordered ANA screen, IFA. Result was low level antibody level and all three tiers are negative, indicating the absence of detectable antibodies.

Asked for Dr to test antibodies with repeat thyroid function (no diagnosis yet all results on my last post but thyroid T4 seems high, then a little low 2 weeks later, and tsh v low then normal) . I was diagnosed in 2001 based on the following lab results: TSH 18.41 (ref 0.4-4.2) FT4 5.4 pmol/l (9-23) anti-TPO 6154 UI/mL (<6) anti-thyroglobuline 441 uI/mL (<4) No FT3 tested. In 2012, I was put on NDT after a 24 h urine analysis showed low T3 levels on 200 mcg of Euthyrox daily.
