Very bizarre results
Last time he said my
TPO
were too low to be hashimoto. Sounds like nonsense to me.

Thyroid Antibodies
I showed him that my TG antibodies were 256 which is well above the top of the range (115) but he said I do not have Hashimoto’s because my
TPO
antibodies are in range. Is this true? Thanks for your help.

Inj. Hertraz insurance cover
Hi Everyone, This is regarding insurance cover for Trastuzumab(Hertraz Inj.). The cashless claim for this was rejected recently for 2nd cycle claiming it was not payable by UHC TPA, while the same was approved for the 1st cycle. I don't know why they rejected it for 2nd cycle. I have applied for reimbursement

TPO and TG Antibodies
But my dr didn’t test
TPO
or TG antibodies. Can I request for these and T4 be tested via NHS? Or do I have to go back to the drs lab and pay for it to see how these are tracking? I’m getting my tubes tested on Monday to check for blockages and AMH levels tested.

Pregnant...now what? Hypothyroidism
I had three chemical pregnancies last year, after which it was noted that my TSH was around 4/4.5 (other thyroid counts normal/optimal,
TPO
also optimal) and had been for quite some time. Levels normalised to 1.5 on 50mg and after 3 months I now have a positive pregnancy test.

Sons thyroid results
Hi, My son (18) has just had a full thyroid check with Medicheck. We did this because he is often very tired and I have Hashimotos (and my mother had Lupus, so AI in the family). I thought he may have it too. His results are: CRP HS 0.14 (0-5) Ferritin 192 (30-400) Folate serum 6.03 (3.89-19.45)

Newbie/ Medichecks results
Hi, As a newbie to all of this I’d really appreciate some help and advice. A few weeks ago I went to see my GP because I was feeling exhausted. I’ve been many times over the years, and looking back, my visits have been around tiredness (mostly), feeling like there’s a lump in my throat when swallowing

I’m starving all the time !!
Oh lovely woman too late I’ve ordered private ones on line as I’m looking for TGAB and
TPO
/TPEX not just TSH, FT3 & 4. I’ve also ordered a cortisol and GTT test plus I’ve got a blood glucose monitor at home.

Getting an increase in Levo
I had abnormal TSH for a year, declining T4 and a private GP did
TPO
antibodies and said I was Hashimotos. My Endo then did Tg antibodies suggesting
TPO
was the wrong one and it came back normal so has said not Hashi. Where to go from here? Should I go back to the original private GP?

Five weeks on levo and FT4 has gone down :(
TPO

Query re antibodies
I know a few weeks ago my
TPO
antibodies were high and the private GP I saw said Hashimotos but the private Endo I was referred to re tested with the other thyroid antibodies tests and these have come back in normal range. Is this unusual- what could this mean? Any thoughts anyone?

More bloods tomorrow: is this a start, at least?
Whoopee...it seems I’m getting TSH, T3/T4
TPO
antibodies, FBC, UE, CHOL, LFT, HBlac. OK, I know, a few of these are distractions, a few are missing, but to me it’s a reasonably positive step.
