Toujeo

Take two lots of insulin (Toujeo and Fiasp) and have Libre 2 continuous blood glucose monitor…to me looks like gen.BG fasting levels say 2 units higher, and some rather weird unexpected highs on foodstuff I normally correctly Fiasp dose.

Current insulin treatment consists of Toujeo DoubleStar 300 units/ml and Humalog 200 units/ml Experience of fasting shows that for Toujeo a daily dosage of 120 units maintains BG @ around 5 mmol/l.

I have type 2 diabetes and take 2000mg of Metformin SR, 84 Units of Toujeo and varying units (16/14/14) of Novo Rapid. At the moment, my fasting bloods are running at about 12-14 each morning.

Hi, I'm caring for my husband who has end stage liver disease, he also has diabetes type 2 which is managed by metformin and insulin, his bloods have been consistently high for the last 5 months and in an effort to better manage this he was switched to Toujeo and Humalog..readings remain high the morning
